DNHN - Quang Ninh province collaborated with the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize an investment promotion conference in 2022 with the theme "Convergence and diffusion," and awarded two registration certificates signed to invest in FDI projects in Quang Yen town (Quang Ninh), with a total capital of more than 55.5 million USD.
This is also the first investment promotion conference in 2022, with ABAC (APEC Business Advisory Council) members from 21 Asia-Pacific nations participating.

Mr Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, said Quang Ninh province is a destination for local and overseas investors with numerous exceptional comparative advantages.
Quang Ninh has a geostrategic location in terms of politics and economics, with different potentials; it has a big land area, abundant natural resources, and diverse natural ecosystems... Quang Ninh, in particular, has the greatest total area of industrial parks and economic zones in the nation; the largest power production hub in Vietnam; and has long been a leader in the business investment environment and administrative reform in Vietnam.
Furthermore, the Management Board of the Quang Ninh Economic Zone signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical Joint Stock Company and Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company on a project to produce polypropylene resins with a total investment capital of 1.5 billion USD in Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park; and a project to build ready-built factories and ready-built warehouses for lease with an estimated investment capital of 23.8 million USD (Quang Yen town).
