DNHN - According to Mr. Nguyen Lam Vien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VINAMIT Joint Stock Company, businesses need to focus on the core value of contributing to the community first.
Leading the way in science and technology
In 1991, Mr. Nguyen Lam Vien established VINAMIT Joint Stock Company (‘VINAMIT’) in Binh Duong province. VINAMIT's products have been present in most supermarket chains and convenience stores for more than ten years. In addition, VINAMIT's dried fruit products are also current in many countries such as China, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, the USA, and Europe.
VINAMIT chose the right direction and persevered with this choice, despite many difficulties." I understand the development trend of agriculture and food processing in the upcoming future. To survive and develop, businesses must produce clean products oriented to human health. VINAMIT focuses on investing in research and science and technology application," shared Mr. Nguyen Lam Vien.
VINAMIT currently has more than 20,000 hectares of specialized farming areas spread throughout the Eastern and Southwestern provinces. With a team of highly qualified staff, experts, and modern laboratories, they constantly research and find new plant varieties according to orders.

Dried jackfruit is VINAMIT's one of the first three products, now becoming a favorite product, present in many world places.
The cooperation between VINAMIT and farmers in specialized farming areas on breeding new varieties and transferring nursery technology has brought about a stable source of raw materials, high productivity, and quality.
“All products of VINAMIT are organic, and absolutely no preservative chemicals are used, only preserved by a system of frozen factories. To timely preserve and ensure the freshness of products in all critical raw material areas such as Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dak Lak, and Dong Nai, we have a preservation system. After preliminary treatment, raw materials are transferred to three factories of VINAMIT in Binh Duong, Dak Lak, and Kien Giang provinces.
These are three factories with modern technological lines imported from Germany and Taiwan, such as vacuum drying, heating drying, and drying, ensuring the products retain their original colors and flavors. All three factories meet international quality management standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), ISO 9001:2008… and are certified by the certifications. Reputable agencies such as Bureau Veritas, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recognize it," said Mr. Vien.

Great ambition
According to Mr. Vien, the upcoming strategy of VINAMIT is to produce food and drink chains that keep the originality and simplicity without the use of flavor enhancers, food additives, chemicals, or preservatives.
VINAMIT aims to conquer about 50 million consumers, including 30 million Vietnamese and 20 million international customers. To promote Vietnamese brand recognition and bring our products to global customers with personalized service, we connect with e-commerce platforms Amazon and Alibaba.
VINAMIT's formation and development journey is associated with constant "innovation and creativity," from researching and improving raw plant varieties and applying modern production technology to branding and market development.
"Innovation in the business process will help businesses develop many good ideas, contributing to improving product quality and reducing output costs. And to be successful, there must be a difference, but without creativity, there is no difference," emphasized Mr. Vien. According to Mr. Vien, organic products are an inevitable trend from decades ago in developed countries.

According to Mr. Nguyen Lam Vien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VINAMIT Joint Stock Company, businesses need to focus on the core value of contributing to the community first.
Essential requirements for organic production are clean, nutritious soil and human resources that understand and follow the correct process. "I once lost VND 150 billion when I could not find a method to inhibit bacteria. Organic production is not only about planting, harvesting, and consuming, but also having to study like a scientist", shared Mr. Lam Vien.
"VINAMIT's core orientation and culture are to make real products with real value. Because only when doing so will it create motivation for the whole team. A valuable and well-regulated product will generate sales and profits," said Mr. Vien.
In 2016, VINAMIT Joint Stock Company was certified for organic farming and agricultural products according to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA Organic) and the European Union.
VINAMIT is granted an international Organic code at the whole level after completing all 100% of the assessment criteria of this certification (545 indicators), under the direct supervision of experts of the Control Union organization with more than 100 samples that have been sent to independent testing and evaluation in the Netherlands.
