Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) Receives over 80,000 Tourists during the Lunar New Year Holiday

DNHN - According to the Mong Cai City Department of Culture and Information, over 80,000 tourists visited Mong Cai during the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday (from the 29th of the last lunar month to the 5th of the new lunar month).

Specifically, over 70,000 people entered and exited the country through Mong Cai international border gate, and over 10,000 tourists stayed overnight.
Tourist attractions in Mong Cai that attracted visitors include Sa Vi border propaganda information cluster, border gate, Xa Tac Temple, Xuan Lan Pagoda, Tra Co Communal House, Thanh Mau Temple, Po Hen National Historical Site, Nam Tho Pagoda, etc.

During the holiday, nearly 360 tourism service businesses in Mong Cai were open to serve tourists.

After the Lunar New Year holiday, Mong Cai will continue to hold many major festivals such as Van Ninh Communal House Festival, Dan Tien Communal House Festival, Bau Communal House Festival, Quat Dong Communal House Festival (from the 10th to the 16th of the first lunar month) and Xa Tac Temple Festival (from the 29th to the 1st of the second lunar month). Therefore, the number of tourists to Mong Cai City may continue to increase.

Currently, Mong Cai City is striving towards the goal of becoming a “Green, smart, friendly and safe tourist city”, with the people of Mong Cai being “Civilised - Friendly - Hospitable”, and tourism service businesses ensuring the motto “Friendly - Convenient - Trustworthy”.
