DNHN - When the number of enterprises returning to this area grows, the potential for business recovery in the tourist industry becomes apparent.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourists, Vietnam's tourism industry is continuing to recover, resulting in a rise in the number of service tourism firms returning and an increase in people recruitment in this area.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the number of newly founded firms in the tourist industry increased significantly in the first six months of 2022, including lodging and food services. beverage reached 3,065 businesses, a 27.7 per cent increase during the same time; employment and tourist services reached 3,902 businesses, a 23.4 per cent increase.

In the first six months of the year, the number of firms returning to operation in the sector of lodging and catering services reached 2,362 enterprises, a 63.5 per cent increase over the same period; employment and tourist services reached 2,215 enterprises, a 50.5 per cent increase.
The reintroduction of tourism has resulted in the creation of new employment. Over the same time last year, the number of registered workers of newly founded firms in the service sector climbed by 15.9 per cent, with housing and catering services increasing by 19.7 per cent and employment and tourist services increasing by 20.7 per cent.
Vietnam is one of the top locations with the greatest growth rates in the globe, ranging from 50% to 75%. Over the same period, the number of worldwide searches for Vietnam tourism surged by more than 1,200 per cent. Along with this trend, demand for both internal and outbound tourism by Vietnamese travellers is expanding quickly throughout the summer tourist season this year.
In response to new developments in the international visitor market to Vietnam, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism collaborated with tourism businesses, airlines, and destinations to plan organization promotional activities to quickly recover the international tourist market to Vietnam, with a focus on markets near Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
