In the context of Vietnam's retail market, which is becoming increasingly dynamic, there are still some issues that require attention. Currently, there is insufficient retail market concentration, particularly in the e-commerce sector. But don't let this deplete your strength; an opportunity is already calling and awaiting your response.
According to the analysis of economic experts, Vietnam's retail market is undergoing an attractive revolution as a result of the country's large population and entrepreneurial spirit. A significant achievement, but the road ahead is still quite long and difficult.

For the remainder of the year, businesses will face obstacles. The objective is not only to complete the plan and expand the market but also to be able to adapt to market shifts and shifting consumer preferences.
Consequently, the objective is contingent not only on the support of policies or management agencies but also on the comprehension and adaptability of each business. They must be the driving force, from industry collaboration to creating unique customer experiences.
The future potential of the retail market stands out in the context of the entire picture. With a participation rate of over 20% among modern retailers, there is still a tremendous opportunity for growth. However, it is necessary to address the lack of focus, particularly in the e-commerce industry.
To eliminate this disadvantage, decisive action is required. Important steps include the promotion of consolidation, cooperation between units, and the utilization of recent tax incentives. Simultaneously, focusing on customer experience and providing genuine value fosters a healthy competitive environment.
According to a report from the General Statistics Office, the total retail sales of consumer goods and services in July 2023 were estimated at VND 512.2 trillion, an increase of 1.1% from the previous month and 7.0% from the same period in 2022.
The total retail sales of consumer goods and services in the first seven months of 2023 are projected to reach 3,529.8 trillion VND, a 10.4% increase over the same period in 2022.
