Foxlink Vietnam explores investment cooperation in Dong Thap province

DNHN - Foxlink Vietnam Company Limited had a meeting with the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province - Mr Doan Tan Buu and some leaders of related departments and agencies. This event is connected to the Association for Economic, Cultural and Educational Development of Taiwan - Vietnam to learn about investment.
Founded in 1986, Foxlink is a corporation that designs, manufactures and sells connectors, cable assemblies, power management devices, and battery packs on an OEM/ODM basis to several communication equipment manufacturers, in the world's leading computer and consumer electronics, headquartered in Taiwan.

Foxlink Vietnam Company currently has a need to expand the second factory in Vietnam and is in the process of searching for an area, it is expected that this factory will have an area of about 30 hectares, and will operate in the field of electronics with a need of about 20,000 workers. It is known that before that, the first factory was built in the Export Processing Zone of Tan Thuan Ward - Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting, Mr Kung Te-Yuan - Director of Foxlink Vietnam Company Limited introduced Foxlink Company and the need for investment cooperation in Dong Thap.
Before the company's proposal, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Tan Buu said that the province currently has Tan Kieu Industrial Park (101 ha) and Truong Xuan Industrial Cluster (36 ha) ready for investment by businesses. Along with that is a young and abundant labour force, meeting the needs of the Company's human resources.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to act as the focal point to support the Company to invest in Dong Thap.
