One of the effective application technologies is BIM technology, which Becamex IDC has applied successfully in the past time.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a new technology, developed based on digital technology, being deployed and widely applied in the construction industry in many countries. BIM will be the mainstream technology of the construction industry for many decades to come, and at the same time an effective tool to help the design, construction and construction management fields solve current inadequacies.
Currently, in Vietnam, the application of BIM in design, construction, and operation management has been implemented since the end of 2016 and is being piloted in design, construction and operation activities. By April 2021, the Ministry of Construction has published General Guidelines for the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and details applied to civil works and urban technical infrastructure works. This can be considered as an important official legal in the development of BIM in Vietnam, contributing to creating the optimal solution to approach the 4.0 technology revolution of the country's construction industry.
Although it has only been established for 4 years, the BIM Research and Development Centre of Becamex IDC Corporation has brought outstanding results to key projects over the past time. The application of digital transformation in construction helps investors and design consultants to choose design options, resolve technical conflicts from the early stages, and at the same time provide support to related units to limit errors, follow the progress in the construction process based on the digital model. In addition, the exchange of information has been digitized on the integrated cloud common data environment to help investors, project management consultants and supervisory consultants to coordinate and control projects together. prompt, timely manner.
