DNHN - From now until the end of the year, it is anticipated that automobile consumption will continue to rise. Sub-1 billion VND family automobiles remain the most popular.
The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) reported that its member units sold 23,800 vehicles on the market in June, an increase of 15% compared to the previous month.
In the first half of the year, members of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), TC Motor, and VinFast sold a total of 139,443 passenger cars.
According to official data from VAMA, Toyota is one of the brands that sells the most passenger cars in Vietnam.
Corolla Cross is essential to achieving this level of success for Toyota. This is the best-selling crossover vehicle and the fourth best-selling vehicle in Vietnam during the first six months of 2023, surpassing many formidable competitors. Corolla Cross inaugurates the Hybrid automobile line in Vietnam, followed by the hybrid petrol version of Corolla Altis, Camry, and a few new products.
From now until the end of the year, it is anticipated that automobile consumption will continue to rise. Sub-1 billion VND family automobiles remain the most popular.
As we enter the second half of the year, airlines are also promoting sales by enhancing quality, introducing new products, and ensuring customer safety.
Utilizing virtual reality technology to experience some of the vehicle's safety features, such as the Pre-collision warning system, adaptive automatic high beam system, and lane departure warning system, was one of the experiential activities at the weekend event held by Toyota Vietnam.
Vice President of the Vietnam Supporting Industry Association Bui Thi Hong Hanh stated that Vietnam's export turnover of goods is always greater than its import turnover, indicating a constant trade surplus. More than 70% of exporting companies have foreign investment, and 70% of their inputs come from manufacturers. Consequently demonstrates that Vietnamese businesses develop better in supporting industries, create core values, and possess greater expertise and quality.
Vietnam has the potential to become one of the first ASEAN members to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle production and consumption, according to Ms. Hanh.
Moreover, according to Ms. Hanh, the number of automobiles sold on the market increases annually; in 2022 alone, over 510 thousand automobiles were sold; by 2025, it is anticipated that the number of automobiles sold will reach 800,000 units.
From 2020 to 2025, it is known that Vietnam's automobile industry is growing at a rate of 25% per year. This increase is a result of the domestic economy driving demand and favorable tax incentives for domestic production, import taxes on foreign vehicles, and infrastructure investment.
