DNHN - Accordingly, after consulting the National Population Database, businesses have identified approximately 2,3 million subscribers who require standardization.
According to statistics from the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Information and Communications (TT&TT), as of the afternoon of March 27 - after nearly two weeks of implementation - nearly 1.7 million out of 4 million subscribers had subscribed to the standardization of information after receiving notices from network operators. Consequently, after consulting the National Population Database, businesses have identified approximately 2,3 million subscribers whose information must be standardized. From now until March 31, subscribers who have not standardized their information will be blocked from making calls, and after 60 days, if they do not have the correct information, they will lose service entirely.
This round of standardization of information began on March 14. The operators Viettel, VinaPhone, and MobiFone determined at that time that there were approximately 4 million subscribers whose information did not match the National Database (National Database). According to network operator representatives, the cause may be incorrect information provided when registering subscribers, a discrepancy between the type of identification documents used to register subscribers and those recorded in the national database, and the fact that some customers have not yet registered. After seven days, on March 21, 1,1 million subscribers' information was standardized.
According to the regulations, if customers do not meet the standardization requirements by March 31, carriers will cease providing one-way services and continue to send subscribers notification messages.
The 2-way service for subscribers who have not met the requirements will continue to be blocked until April 15, and the number of subscribers will be withdrawn on May 15 if customers do not add or update their information in time. time.
According to Ministry of Information and Communications regulations, network operators will begin a one-way lock (only receive incoming calls) for subscribers whose information does not match the information in the database by the end of March 31. The contract will be terminated two months later if the subscriber does not register to standardize personal information in accordance with the regulations.
"To ensure the interests of users of telecommunications services and meet the deadline, the Department of Telecommunications requests that enterprises strengthen their technical equipment and human resources in order to create the most favorable conditions, coordinating and standardizing subscriber information.
Specifically, the network operator must have a communication plan for each customer group, such as a group of customers going on business trips abroad or a group of customers in remote areas, because remote areas are inconvenient for accessing information and the elderly group has limited access to technology.
Users must also actively check subscriber information by sending a free text message with the syntax TTTB to the number 1414 to determine if their subscriber has accurate and complete information.
When standardizing subscriber information, users must adhere to the network operator's official instructions to avoid being taken advantage of and scammed by bad actors "The Deputy Director of the Department of Telecommunications, Mr. Nguyen Phong Nha, remarked.
Only subscribers who receive Viettel's messages or calls from the switchboard are required to visit Viettel's telecommunications service providers by March 31 to standardize and update their information. Customers who do not receive messages or calls from the aforementioned sources can use the service with confidence, but they must remain vigilant when a caller announces a block or requests personal information. In the event that the customer does not receive the message, but needs to change other information or update the primary subscriber, they can do so after March 31 for immediate support with no wait time.
According to a representative of VinaPhone, the operator only notifies customers who need to check and standardize subscriber information via messages and calls that automatically display the identifier "VinaPhone" at this time. After receiving the notification, customers can standardize their information independently via the VinaPhone application and website, at VinaPhone transaction points nationwide, or by contacting the Customer Care Center. instruct.
Additionally, the MobiFone representative noted that the process of standardizing subscriber information is completely free, and that customers only receive information and instructions when they receive an official message from the carrier's brand name. "MobiFone customers have four options for standardizing subscriber information. The first option is to visit the closest store. The second method involves using the website https://tttb.mobifone.vn/. The final option is to use the website https://tttb.mobifone.vn/. My MobiFone. And finally, for special customers, such as the elderly, the operator will send staff to their homes to provide assistance "said an operator for MobiFone representative.
