DNHN - On August 12, 2022, the Vietnam Record Organization officially awarded VPBank the record title: "The billboard with the names of officials and employees on the glass of the building with the largest area in Vietnam".
VPBank's giant billboard with a total record area of nearly 2,000 m2 runs along the height of the building where the bank's Head Office is located at 89 Lang Ha, Dong Da, Hanoi. This sign can be seen from a few kilometres away and impresses any people passing through the vicinity of Thai Ha, Lang Ha, Hoang Cau, Huynh Thuc Khang streets, etc.
To create this record-sized electronic board, VPBank used high-quality decals, mobilized dozens of modern machines and construction workers continuously within 24 days and officially set a record on August 12, 2022 – the right day of the Bank's 29th anniversary.
Not only has the "terrible" size, but the most special feature of this sign is also the message "For a Prosperous Vietnam" made up of the names of all more than 10,000 employees of the Bank. People can find their names on this super-resolution 9 billion-pixel building shot stitched together by 2,929 single images with over 2.9 hours of continuous shooting and 299 hours of post-processing.
This is an important highlight honouring the contributions of employees as an indispensable link in the development process of VPBank. Previously, the VPBank building was the first building in Hanoi to install and operate a matrix LED decoration system, attracting the attention of the public through a series of events such as the AFF Cup, SEA Games, etc.
A representative of VPBank said that the 29th anniversary of VPBank's establishment (August 12, 1993 - August 12, 2022) marked many important milestones for the bank with the repositioning of the brand, the goal of becoming one of the leading private banks in Vietnam, committed to realizing the mission "For a prosperous Vietnam".
According to the survey results in 2022 published by McKinsey (Global Management Consulting Company), VPBank belongs to the group of 25% of banks in the world with the best global OHI institutional health index. This result shows that VPBank has a strong organization; a team of leaders, enthusiastic staff, along with human resource policies are at the top to promote the strength of the organization.
“To have the leading position like today, the first and greatest work belongs to generations of employees of the bank and on this occasion, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you, who have been sticking with each development milestone of VPBank, making daily efforts to make VPBank more and more developed”, the representative affirmed.
Every year, VPBank organizes dozens of corporate culture programs from sports competitions such as the unique survival program "VPBank Commandos" to beauty contests such as "Mr.& Ms VPBank", singing "Sing&Dance" " or contest knowledge with "Status of VPBank”, etc. Regular internal movement activities have created a playground and increased the spirit of cohesion for employees after stressful working hours.
As a result, within the framework of the HR Excellence Award in 2021, VPBank became the first enterprise with the policy of "Best Employee Training and Development" & "Best Work Environment Security". In 2019, VPBank was also voted the "Best Place to Work in Asia" by the Human Resources Assessment Asia (HR Asia) next to multinational corporations such as Nestle, Heineken, Deloitte, etc.
In addition to the meaningful act of gratitude for employees, VPBank also implemented a series of incentive programs to reduce interest rates, promotions, and draw large prizes across the country called "Prosperity Harmony" with many meaningful gifts, in which the special prize is the Mercedes-Benz C200 Avantgarde 2022 worth 1.7 billion VND.
In addition, a series of other cultural and entertainment programs will also be organized by VPBank in major cities as a "spiritual food" for customers such as Messages of gratitude to customers on the large billboards at the most beautiful locations of Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City; 2 buses "Prosperity" run throughout the branches in the capital and Ho Chi Minh City to send surprise gifts to customers.
In particular, during the two weekends of August 13-14, 2022, VPBank will hold a minishow gathering of the "hot" faces of young people such as Suni Ha Linh, Sweet, Chillies, etc., along with lively activities and draws luck at the cultural space of Ho Guom walking street, Hanoi.
