DNHN - The Advisory Board will play a crucial role as a bridge between VinFast Auto and its expanding network of 25 dealerships.
VinFast Auto has recently announced the establishment of a Dealer Advisory Board in the US. This board comprises outstanding representatives from VinFast dealerships across the United States, selected based on their commitment to customer service and industry expertise.
The Advisory Board will act as an important liaison between VinFast Auto and its continuously expanding network of 25 dealerships. The inaugural meeting of this organization was recently held in Los Angeles, California.
David Duncan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at VinFast Auto, expressed enthusiasm about the formation of the Advisory Board, citing the experience and dedication of the dealers as key to expanding the company's presence in the US market. He emphasized the goal of creating a collaborative environment to enhance the customer experience.
David Coyle, Director of Leith VinFast Dealership in Raleigh, North Carolina, stated, "I am honored to be selected for VinFast's Dealer Advisory Board. VinFast is a company with a bold vision for the future of mobility, and I am excited to contribute to their success. This board is a great opportunity for us to engage openly and collaborate closely, ensuring VinFast leads the electric vehicle market."
Members of the VinFast Dealer Advisory Board include David Coyle, David Sansing from Pensacola, Florida; Elie Hanna from Bradenton, Florida; Damian Mills from Greensboro, North Carolina; and Bill Auffenberg from Katy, Texas.
In April, VinFast Auto announced that it had signed partnership agreements with 12 new dealerships in the US. To date, VinFast has partnered with a total of 18 dealerships (each dealership opening a VinFast store) in 7 states across the US, including North Carolina, New York, Texas, Florida, Kansas, Connecticut, and Kentucky.
VinFast is a subsidiary of Vingroup, focusing on electric vehicles. The company's product range includes electric SUVs, electric scooters, and electric buses. With plans to expand its distribution and dealership network globally, VinFast is striving to increase production capacity, targeting key markets across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Regarding business results, in Q2 2024, VinFast announced that it sold approximately 12,000 electric vehicles, an increase of 24% compared to Q1. In total, for the first half of 2024, VinFast delivered 21,747 electric cars, marking an impressive 92% growth compared to the same period in 2023. However, compared to its annual plan, the company has only achieved about 25% of its target.
