Vietnam Design Week - VietNam Design Week 2023 was announced on September 14 at a press conference in Hanoi. This event will be held for the fourth time in 2023, and new features include the awarding of the Design of the Year Award - "Design of the Year 2023" for outstanding product designs in Vietnam. The design fair "Design Fair Vietnam" is also an integral part of the event, with over 100 booths of nearly 50 domestic and international design and manufacturing units of furniture and exterior, furniture and decoration, handicrafts, fashion, and media.
Le Viet Ha, chairman of the VietNam Design Group, stated that this event has become an effective platform for connecting the contemporary design community with the traditional craft village community throughout the nation. This event facilitates the introduction of well-designed products to the market and honors outstanding product design.
According to the Director of the Centre for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Le Xuan Kieu, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam has had a strong innovation and become a friendly cultural space, retaining its traditional values. On the evening of September 23, the opening ceremony of the fourth Vietnam Design Week will take place at Thai Hoc Stadium, alongside the "Designed by VietNam" competition exhibition in the Tien Duong House and the "Design Fair VietNam" outside the Garden.
