TV.Pharm Pharmaceutical Company participates in volunteer activities in Thanh Hoa

DNHN - On June 28th, TV.Pharm Pharmaceutical Company supported an amount of VND 200 million along with a delegation from the Ministry of Health to donate medical equipment to Tho Xuan District General Hospital in Thanh Hoa province.

Tho Xuan District General Hospital, with 360 beds, continually develops new techniques such as neonatal care, electric shock treatment, dialysis, ventilators, endoscopic surgery, CT-scanners, and Phaco surgery. However, the hospital faces challenges in infrastructure, equipment, and resources, with many devices deteriorating.

Understanding these difficulties, TV.Pharm Pharmaceutical Company donated VND 200 million with the desire to contribute to healthcare and improve the health of the people. "We believe that with additional modern and fully functional equipment, the quality of healthcare services will improve. Local residents can receive better treatment right at the district hospital without necessarily being transferred to higher-level facilities", said Mr. Ha Ngoc Son, CEO of TV.Pharm.

In addition, TV.Pharm, together with a delegation from the Ministry of Health led by Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, visited, encouraged, and donated 200 gifts to severely ill, critically ill patients, and those undergoing treatment for chronic diseases at Tho Xuan District General Hospital.

After Tho Xuan, the TV.Pharm pharmacist team continued their journey to Che Lau village, Na Meo commune, Quan Son district as part of the volunteer program "For the Border Highlands", jointly organized by the Youth Union of the Provincial Party Office and Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station (June 29-30). Here, the TV.Pharm pharmacist team, together with doctors from Thanh Hoa Provincial Cancer Hospital, provided free medical examinations, medications, and gifts to over 200 people, including approximately 100 children aged 0 to 10 years old.

Pharmacist Ho Cuong (Branch Director of TV.Pharm in Thanh Hoa) stated that with nearly 40 types of medications, including antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, fever reducers, cardiovascular drugs, cholesterol reducers, stomach pain relievers, diarrhea medications, gastrointestinal medications, and various supplements for adults and children, the program successfully conducted basic medical examinations and provided essential common medications for family medicine cabinets. It is known that in the "For the Border Highlands" program, TV.Pharm sponsored the distribution of treatment and nutritional medicines worth over VND 100 million.

For many years, with the mission of "Community Healthcare", TV.Pharm Pharmaceutical Company has consistently sponsored medical examinations and provided free medications amounting to tens of billion Vietnamese dong for people across various provinces and cities nationwide.
