DNHN - This artificial intelligence (AI) robot is capable of understanding and responding in natural language to a limited number of exchanges, just like two people conversing in real-time.
The test version of Anan, Vietnam's artificial intelligence robot, has just been introduced after more than four years of research. Since 2019, ETT International Joint Stock Company has been working on a project involving robots with artificial intelligence.
Anan was named after the renowned educator Chu Van An. Based on big data technology (Big Data) and artificial intelligence, this robot manufactured in Vietnam can conduct natural language conversations (AI).
Tran Ngoc Thien, a representative of the research unit, stated that Anan can create a conversation to understand and respond in natural language, as if two people were conversing in real-time, with a limited number of exchanges and a pre-built process.
Anan's greatest ability is his ability to communicate in Vietnamese, analyze and evaluate those contents, and make the next communication decision to meet the established communication process's requirements.
"With the ability to listen to comprehend more than 80 per cent of basic Vietnamese communication through voice. Anan can accurately identify the intent of the user, even in lengthy passages that do not match it. Instructions have been taught. Anan will select the next communication content based on his comprehension of this content by the predetermined procedure.
According to a member of the development team, existing Vietnamese-language AI platforms and applications can only comprehend brief commands that have been loaded (learned) beforehand. If the user says it in a manner that differs from the loaded sentence pattern, the AI will not understand or may perform it incorrectly.
Due to the aforementioned limitation, users can only issue or match orders with the app, but cannot yet engage in a natural conversation.
In addition, Anna was able to solve the aforementioned story by accurately identifying the user's intent to mention, including lengthy conversations, without having to match the taught commands. The robot will then choose the content to exchange and respond to the user based on the predefined scenario.
The objective of the development team is for Anan to be able to replace or assist with tasks requiring process-based communication, such as life skills instructor, psychological consultant, sales consultant, and user guide assistant.
This robot can speak with the distinctive Vietnamese accents of Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and the surrounding provinces. Anan's current weakness is that he only speaks Vietnamese. Nonetheless, this will be addressed in upcoming versions.
The primary distinction between Anan and ChatGPT is that this robot's communications are censored. The development team will be responsible for the answers' content and calibre. In addition, the Anan robot will actively control communication, guiding the other party to the main topic rather than answering questions about material outside the curriculum. Parents will receive app-based reports from the robot about their child's psychological state and learning outcomes.
This AI robot model will help children receive one-on-one training, as well as evaluate and correct errors, provide continuous feedback, and aid children in comprehending and effectively applying the skills they have been taught.
