According to Decision No. 08/2022/QD-TTg stipulating the implementation of the policy of housing rental support for employees, the two beneficiaries who will receive support are employees working in enterprises and employees working in the enterprise. workers return to the labor market, at the rate of 500,000 VND/person/month and 1,000,000 VND/person/month. Support period is up to 3 months. Monthly payment method will be used.
According to the Director of the Employment Department, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Vu Trong Binh, the ministry's initial estimate is that about 3.4 million workers are entitled to the rent support policy.

The policy to support rent for employees is to support 2 types of workers in industrial parks, export processing zones, and key economic zones according to Decree No. 82/2018/ND-CP.
The first is the labor that is working. Eligibility conditions are being rented in the period from February 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022; have an indefinite-term labor contract or a definite-term labor contract of 1 month or more signed and commenced before April 1, 2022; are participating in compulsory social insurance (named on the list of participating in compulsory social insurance of the social insurance agency) in the month preceding the time the enterprise makes a list of employees requesting financial support for rent.
In case employees are not subject to compulsory social insurance as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 2 of Decree No. 115/2015/ND-CP dated 11/11/2015 of the Government detailing a number of Articles of the Law on Social Insurance on compulsory social insurance must be included in the salary list of the enterprise for the month immediately preceding the time the enterprise makes a list of employees requesting rent support. Support level: 500,000 VND/month, up to 3 months.
The second is to support rent for workers returning to the labor market. Eligibility conditions are: are renting, staying in the period from April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022; having an indefinite-term labor contract or a definite-term labor contract of 01 month or more entered into and performed during the period from April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022, except labor contract entered into the continuation of the labor contract signed and performed previously; are participating in compulsory social insurance (named on the list of participating in compulsory social insurance of the social insurance agency) in the month immediately preceding the time the employer makes the list of proposed employees. rent assistance.
