Phu Tho Welcomes over 500,000 Tourists during the Lunar New Year

DNHN - According to the Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday, Phu Tho welcomed approximately 564,200 tourists, nearly three times more than in 2023.

Specifically, the number of overnight guests is estimated at 11,180, with an average room occupancy rate of approximately 45%; the peak day at some accommodation facilities in Thanh Thuy district is estimated to be around 90%. Tourism revenue reached approximately 121.8 billion VND.

The organisation of welcoming tourists and people to visit tourist attractions was lively and attractive, ensuring safety and security. The tourist attractions that attracted the most visitors were the Hung Kings Historical Site, Au Co Temple, Lang Suong Temple, Tam Giang Temple, Thanh Thuy Hot Mineral Water Tourist Area, and Viet Tri City Centre.
