Over 429,000 customers are managed and supplied with electricity by Phu Tho Power Company. In 2022, the Company will generate nearly 3.5 billion kWh of commercial power. The company has prioritized upgrading and constructing a new power grid to accommodate the rising electricity demand. Concurrently, the Company constructed 89 new substations, increased the capacity of 161 transformers, swapped 175 under-loaded-overloaded transformers, and balanced 1,077 substations to prevent grid overload.
18 projects will be implemented on the 110kV power grid in the province between 2022 and 2023, including the 110kV Thanh Thuy, Ha Hoa, and Phu Ha transformer stations and the installation of T2 transformers at the 110kV Thuy Van station. electrical power in 2022.
The power grid is renovated and upgraded in the direction of smart grids, applying science and technology to increase the reliability of the power supply and meet the needs of production activities and human life. In particular, putting the Remote Control Centre and unmanned 110kV substation into operation is a crucial step in the plan to construct a smart grid, optimize the operation of the power system, and monitor it in its entirety. The operational status of the province's medium and high-voltage power grids is adequate and on schedule.
Constantly prioritized is the modernization of power grid infrastructure in industrial zones and clusters to meet the needs of expanding businesses. Cam Khe Industrial Park is home to 15 thriving businesses.
