Nestlé MILO "boosts the will for a dynamic journey" with about 10,000 students and parents in Khanh Hoa

DNHN - The MILO Walking Festival 2022 was formally launched in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22. Nha Trang, bringing over 10,000 students and parents from the Khanh Hoa region.
With the theme "Inspiring the will for a dynamic journey," this year's MILO Walking Festival hopes to disseminate the love of sport and inspire children with every step, establishing a feeling of fitness and exercise regularly in children every day. For the first time, Nestlé MILO is bringing the Walking Festival to Khanh Hoa for the first time, working with the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Education and Training, and other agencies in the province to create a lively sports scene.

The Walking Festival, one of the main yearly events of Nestlé MILO's Dynamic Vietnam program, was first staged in 2014 and has traveled across numerous regions throughout Vietnam, including Bac Giang and Hanoi. For seven years in a row, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho have inspired more than 80,000 youngsters around the nation through athletics. The MILO Walking Festival first arrived in Khanh Hoa in 2022, and it drew a huge number of students, parents, and residents.
"In keeping with the vibrant mood of the 31st SEA Games held by Vietnam, the MILO Walking Festival gives a playground to the sport" stated Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports. It is healthy, beneficial to students, and encourages them to participate in summer sports. The active collaboration of the Nestlé MILO brand and the departments of Khanh Hoa province has led to the success of a large-scale outdoor sports festival with the most vibrant attitude. This is also an event that helps to promote the growth of the sports movement and the tourist image of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa.

Nguyen Mai Quoc Bao, a 4th grader from Phuoc Tien Primary School in Nha Trang City, said of the MILO Walking Festival 2022: "MILO Erun 2022 is a large-scale event that I and my classmates have loved. You've all been anticipating it for many days. I, too, like exercising since it provides several advantages for both my physical and emotional health. When I walk every day after school with my parents, I feel that my mind is a lot more concentrated and my endurance progressively develops. Today's walking excursion provided me with the chance to make new friends and be encouraged to continue and cultivate my long-standing enthusiasm for athletics. Despite the short distance of 2 kilometers, my friends and I had a really exhilarating experience right in our own city. "

As a kind of determination, primary and junior high school pupils in Khanh Hoa province concentrated on walking roughly 2 km down the shore beginning at 2/4 Square (Nha Trang City). Ms. Nguyen Minh Nguyet, MILO and Dairy product manager at Nestlé Vietnam, offered her thoughts on the MILO Walking Day 2022 with thousands of kids and parents in Khanh Hoa province: "The festival's lively mood shared. Walking MILO 2022 demonstrated the lively attitude and sporting enthusiasm that is always present in the youthful generation. Along with nutritious goods for prolonged energy, Nestlé MILO is continually striving to join hands for the holistic development of Vietnamese children by hosting a variety of sports events. Being physically active and participating in sports may help youngsters improve their physical health and build the desire to persevere - both of which are key qualities for future success."

Nestlé Vietnam launched the Dynamic Vietnam program in 2016, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, the General Department of Physical Education and Sports, and the Coordination Committee of "The Master Project on Developing the Physical Strength and Stature of Vietnamese People in the Period 2011-2030" (Project 641). The initiative is part of Project 641, which promotes an active lifestyle and frequent sports participation in the community in general and notably among children aged 6 to 17.
The program's purpose is to help local communities with sports activities, offer sports equipment in schools, and encourage parents to provide opportunities for their children to be active.
The program includes a number of sporting events such as the Phu Dong Sports Club Football Tournament, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Basketball Tournament, the Vovinam Tournament, the Toan City Student Swimming Tournament, the Energy Summer Camp, the So Walking Festival Dynamic Vietnam System, and so on./.
