DNHN - The 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Mobile World Investment Joint Stock Company (Code: MWG) was held online and online on April 8 in the afternoon. Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai appointed Mr. Pham Van Trong to manage Bach Hoa Xanh on his behalf
Mr Nguyen Duc Tai, chairman of the board of directors, announced Mr Pham Van Trong as his successor as president of the Bach Hoa Xanh chain at the outset of the meeting. Mr Trong is 44 years old this year and has been with MWG since 2004, which equates to more than 18 years of service.
Before joining the leadership team of Bach Hoa Xanh Trading Joint Stock Company as the Director of Operations in 2019, he served as the Director of MWG's Information Technology Division.
According to Mr Tai, Mr Trong served as "an essential hyphen between the purchasing and sales teams" during his tenure as director of the operation division. Mr Tai directly supervised and evaluated the new commander of Bach Hoa Xanh for fifteen months before his appointment.
"Appointment is not a privilege, but a tremendous responsibility. There is no place like Bach Hoa Xanh for an appointee who was previously paid a monthly salary but is now unpaid but still required to work diligently ", Mr Tai said.
Mr TronMrtated at the General Meeting of Shareholders that Bach Hoa Xanh will take five significant actions in 2023.
First, transfer all thoughts and actions to the first fundamental value: "The customer comes first"
Second, concentrate on establishing and promoting fresh food (fresh products) as the primary option for households in Bach Hoa Xanh.
Third, construct an operating infrastructure and a special supply chain for fresh food in preparation for the store system's expansion.
Fourth, achieve the revenue and profit goals set by the Board of Directors/Board of Directors and progressively raise employee compensation;
Fifthly, Bach Hoa Xanh online is the leading e-commerce site for consumer products in Vietnam and seeks to generate revenue.
Last year, Bach Hoa Xanh's total revenue exceeded VND 27,000 billion, which was equivalent to 96% of 2021's record revenue (when the need to stock up on essential goods increased during epidemic outbreaks). Each establishment generates an average monthly revenue of 1.35 billion VND.
The management of Mobile World anticipates that the Bach Hoa Xanh chain will contribute 20-25% of the group's annual sales goal of VND 135,000-150,000 billion this year.
