DNHN - In conjunction with its growth, the Long Son Cement brand is based on contributions to society that strive for sustainable values in addition to cutting-edge technological lines, high-quality products, and environmental standards.

With the assistance of Long Son Cement, funds were provided to construct homes as part of a programme to assist the impoverished residing on the river in Thanh Hoa province to come ashore and stabilise their life. Under the harsh guidance of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, all levels, sectors, and localities are working to accompany and support impoverished households, families with preferential policies generally, and people living on the river to go ashore in particular so they can quickly stabilise their lives and develop sustainable economies. This is all part of the "leaving no one behind" movement. Long Son Cement has donated VND18 billion to fund the construction of dwellings for the impoverished living on the river, with a support level of VND50 million for each house, working together with all levels and sectors, with affection and responsibility. The Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is transferring the aforementioned amount in a timely and sufficient manner in compliance with regulations, from policy to action, enabling people to overcome obstacles and quickly go ashore to stabilise their lives. For all the people on the river here, going ashore to escape life on the river is a joy and a turning moment. Households along the river now have land to construct their homes, ending their need to "worry about the day and fear the night" during the stormy season. Their children will be able to attend school and receive a full education going forward, and the workers will be able to work in factories and lead better lives.
In recent years, Long Son Cement has always been interested in and coordinated with all levels, sectors, and local authorities to support the construction of nearly 500 charity houses, "red scarf" houses, and solidarity houses in many provinces and cities across the country, such as Soc Trang, Ninh Binh, Long An, and An Giang. This has helped to motivate households in difficult circumstances further to have solid houses, gradually stabilise their lives, and rise out of poverty. In addition to supporting the construction of houses for impoverished people living on the river and sharing with people in particularly difficult housing circumstances in many instances.
In addition to working together to build housing for families facing hardships and with an eye towards Vietnam's youth of tomorrow, Long Son Cement has partnered with the provinces of Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh to support and create the conditions necessary for students facing hardships to attend school in peace and continuously strive for academic excellence. This has resulted in the awarding of scholarships to these students. The scope of the scholarship is broadened, the number of scholarships is progressively increased, and the scholarship sum is raised annually from VND4.5 million to VND6.3 million per student per school year. The scholarships awarded have helped students follow their aspirations of studying by supporting, encouraging, and sharing their struggles. Speaking about the initiative, Mr Le Tien Dung, Deputy Director of Long Son Cement Company, stated: "The scholarships given to students in exceptionally challenging situations show how concerned Long Son Cement and distributors are about helping students lessen obstacles in life so that their path to education will be more expansive. It is our aim that scholarship recipients will always push themselves academically, develop resilience in the face of adversity, and grow up to be decent kids, decent students, and valuable members of society."
The unpredictability and unfavourable changes in the world have had a significant impact on businesses' operations in the past. As it works to overcome obstacles, Long Son Cement not only maintains stable production and business but also supports and takes part in numerous other important social security initiatives for the community, such as: supporting cement for the construction of new rural infrastructure projects and traffic roads; supporting the Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament; supporting the Thanh Hoa Women's Volleyball Team; donating gifts to the underprivileged and families with preferential policies; and taking part in the foster mother programme with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union.
A company's reputation is cultivated by a variety of factors, including active participation in the community and employee welfare, in addition to significant income, exports, and state budget contributions. Long Son Cement is laying the groundwork for itself and the nation for sustainable growth by acting with love, responsibility, and sharing, as demonstrated by the work that it has done and is still doing.
