Korea-Vietnam Basketball Exchange Event to Take Place Soon

DNHN - In January, the Korea Multicultural Organisation will host a Korea-Vietnam basketball exchange event.

The event aims to raise funds, not only for the development of basketball and the basketball development fund but also to help those in need. Along with the Korea Multicultural Organisation, youth basketball teams in Korea such as the Busan PEC Academy, Awesome Sports Gunsan KCC, Coach Kim Tae Jin of Myung Ji University (Korea), and Waikiki Sports Equipment Recycling are making efforts to develop domestic basketball and help underprivileged children.

Through this, they aim to strengthen relationships with famous basketball teams, and former and current professional basketball players (Korea Gas Corporation), and expand domestic basketball while helping the underprivileged, such as through the 3x3 Asian Basketball Tournament.

CEO Kwon Seong-jin, Executive Director of the Angel Citizens Club (Korea Multicultural Organisation), said, “We plan to cooperate in mutual development through memorandums of understanding on Korea-Vietnam basketball exchanges. Kwon Jae-haeng, Chairman of the Korea Multicultural Foundation, and Phan Thanh Binh, Director of the Vietnam Basketball Industry, will play a pioneering role in initiating cultural and sports exchange activities between Vietnam and Korea.”

The “Korea Multicultural Organisation’s Sponsorship Night” event is scheduled to take place on the evening of January 12, 2024, at the AW Hotel in Seongseo, Daegu, to announce the launch of the Korea-Vietnam basketball exchange.
