DNHN - In the increasing wave of foreign investment in Vietnam, the stories of successful investors have become a boundless source of inspiration. Among them, one cannot overlook the female entrepreneur Jessica Cho, who hails from South Korea.
Jessica Cho is a beautiful woman from South Korea. Before coming to Vietnam, she worked as a developer, marketer, and brand builder in the cosmetics industry.

Like many Koreans, she also had a desire to visit Vietnam at least once for tourism, as it is a country with a tropical climate, breathtaking landscapes, and a low cost of living. In 2014, Jessica Cho came to Vietnam and instantly fell in love with the place. She noticed that the young population lacked proper knowledge and care about skincare and beauty. Most people here were using products without fully understanding their characteristics and individual needs. Faced with this reality, Jessica had the idea of starting her own business in this country to share the experiences and knowledge she had accumulated in South Korea with the Vietnamese people.
In 2017, she officially began her business in Vietnam by establishing the Cos & Ko Vina Company Limited, specializing in supplying beauty products from South Korea to Vietnam. She chose this country as her second home to live and work in.
In the early days of establishing her company, Jessica Cho faced many difficulties in development and operations. She encountered conflicts with partners and local employees, sometimes leading to losing confidence. However, through persistent communication, understanding, and sharing, Jessica Cho now has many reliable partners and customers. Her cosmetics business has been thriving thanks to her patience and belief in the market's great potential.

Many customers discover Cos & Ko Vina's beauty products through e-commerce platforms and commercial centres in Ho Chi Minh City. These product lines have been researched and formulated by Jessica Cho and top experts in South Korea to suit the characteristics of East Asian women.
Jessica Cho is awaiting the right opportunity to invest in a cosmetics manufacturing plant in Vietnam, following Korean standards and technology. The aim is to reduce production costs for consumers and establish a larger-scale business model. However, for Jessica Cho, her greatest success does not lie solely in the sales figures of cosmetics. It is the creation of a mobile application called Ahas, which supports facial skin diagnosis. It is her aspiration and love that she wants to bring to the people of Vietnam. The Ahas app allows users to scan and analyze their facial skin, automatically providing results on skin quality, biological signals, fatigue levels, and health checks, and suggesting suitable skincare solutions and product recommendations.
The Ahas skin diagnosis application was launched on May 22, 2022, and within just 7 months, it has attracted over 50,000 registered members and generated revenue of $10,000. The company's goal for the end of 2023 is to have an additional 50,000 members and reach a revenue of $80,000. Currently, the application is attracting the attention of several Korean investment funds that want to negotiate and explore investment opportunities.
Jessica Cho plans to build the Ahas app into a widely popular application in Vietnam, similar to "Grab," and establish herself as a "Park Hang Seo" in the beauty industry, known by the Vietnamese people. She is always ready to share knowledge about cosmetics and beauty with them. Building on her successful business experience in Vietnam, Jessica Cho has also established a company that provides investment consulting and support services for Korean companies intending to invest in Vietnam.

After nearly 8 years of living in Vietnam, Jessica Cho shares, "I was just an ordinary person in South Korea, but this country has given me the opportunity for success and fame. Ho Chi Minh City is always warm, and people are very friendly. It truly is an ideal place to live and work."

Today, Vietnam has become a preferred destination for foreign investors, and Jessica Cho's entrepreneurial success story in Vietnam is clear evidence of its attractiveness. The Vietnamese government has implemented many preferential policies to encourage foreign investment. The investment environment in Vietnam is highly regarded and considered a top choice in the Asian region for entrepreneurs interested in starting businesses.
