DNHN - Compared to 2022, Hanoi has climbed 41 places and is now ranked 76th on the list of most-interested cities in the summer of 2023. In terms of rank increase, Hanoi is the fifth-most impressive city in the world.
According to a report by the data analysis firm ForwardKeys, Hanoi has advanced rapidly in the ranking of the most appealing cities for the summer of 2023. The capital of Hanoi has risen 41 places since last year and is now ranked 76th globally, making it the fifth most improved city in terms of rank.

According to ForwardKeys, Asia-Pacific destinations are receiving a great deal of interest from global travelers this summer. Bangkok (Thailand) has surpassed Paris (France) and London (United Kingdom) to become the most popular tourist destination. The island of Bali (Indonesia) placed fourth, just ahead of Barcelona (Spain).
In addition, several other Asian cities rank highly in the ForwardKeys rankings, including Singapore, Tokyo, and Kuala Lumpur, which are ranked between 12 and 14, respectively. This is a substantial increase from the previous year. 2022, when these destinations will not be among the top 25.

In the summer of 2023, Vietnam also has two cities on the list of most popular travel destinations. step Ho Chi Minh City was ranked 52nd, up 30 spots from the previous year, while Hanoi was ranked 76th, up 41 spots. According to ForwardKeys, only four cities have risen in prominence more than Hanoi: Taipei (Taiwan, China), Hong Kong (China), Seoul (South Korea), and Tokyo (Japan).
According to Olivier Ponti, an expert at ForwardKeys, the presence of 19 Asian cities among the top 100 most-interested cities in summer 2023 is a clear indication that the tourism industry will experience the summer. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Asian markets have returned to "normal."
In addition, research by ForwardKeys demonstrates a shift in the demand for leisure travel, as seaside destinations are no longer as popular as they were when the tourism industry began to recover from the pandemic. Rather, compared to last summer, airfare bookings for urban, nature, and shopping destinations have increased by 42% to 53%, while beach bookings have increased by only 22%.
