DNHN - Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BAC A BANK) officially launched Kiosk Banking - the first automatic banking transaction model - on July 21, 2022, at 9 Dao Duy Anh, Dong Da District, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, allowing customers to actively manipulate and experience banking services without having to transact at the counter.
With the strategic goal of becoming a contemporary and adaptable bank, BAC A BANK is developing a digital bank model called BAC A BANK Alpha Bank, which stands for Pioneering and Outstanding. The Financial Kiosk project is a significant step forward in BAC A BANK's digital transformation, allowing consumers to actively manipulate, readily access, and use banking services using STM - Transaction Machine intelligent auto.
STM offers a simple, user-friendly interface that is connected with electronic customer identity technologies (eKYC), leveraging 4.0 technology simultaneously such as text extraction from pictures (OCR), biometric authentication such as finger veins, and facial image recognition.
Kiosk Banking can provide most basic banking services for free, such as opening a payment account, enrolling for E-Banking services, and issuing domestic debit cards. Biometrics (FaceID/Finger vein) is used to register and authenticate transactions. With the advancement of technology, Kiosk Banking's transaction flows are becoming increasingly complete, with full features, improved utilities, and maximum processing speed, offering consumers a convenient experience without losing convenience. There is no need to go to a direct transaction point or be restricted by office hours as in the past.
From July 21, 2022, until the end of August 21, 2022, the first 100 clients who successfully create a payment account at Kiosk Banking and complete the program's terms will get 200,000 VND into their account. Simultaneously, all clients who use Kiosk Banking for the first time will benefit from an exceptionally appealing Card & E-Banking service charge combination.
