Ha Long Bay makes it into the top 25 most beautiful natural destinations in the world

The prestigious travel advisory website Tripadvisor has just published a list of the 25 best natural destinations in the world, including a representative from Vietnam.

This is a prestigious annual award that honours the destinations that receive the highest ratings from the community, indicating excellence in the tourism sector. The award criteria are based on requirements such as the destination having beautiful, spectacular natural scenery, where visitors can easily immerse themselves in nature and have an enjoyable experience. Notably, the categories for the Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best awards will be announced throughout the year rather than all at once.

The annual Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations 2024 (Best Destinations as Voted by Travellers) in the category of Best Nature Destinations in the World ranks Ha Long Bay in 2nd place.

Ha Long Bay, one of the UNESCO-recognised World Natural Heritage Sites, boasts emerald-green waters and nearly 2,000 limestone islands of all shapes and sizes, with many fascinating caves that create a world that is both vibrant and mysterious.

Topping the list of the 25 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations 2024 in the category of Best Nature Destinations in the World is Kathmandu, Nepal – a valley with many historical sites surrounded by villages and ancient temples.
