Dong Thap: Mass organizations and the Developing Party in private economic units

DNHN - The Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress says that by 2025, try to get more than 4% of the population in the whole province to be party members. The Provincial Party Committee says that from the beginning of 2022 to the end of June 2022, the whole province added 934 new party members, which is 71.85% of the goal of adding more than 1,300 new party members in 2022.
To reach this goal, the Standing Board of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 213-QD/TW on consolidating the Steering Committee for building Party and mass organizations in private economic units (the Provincial Steering Committee 213).
Head of the Steering Committee Mr Phan Van Thang and members of the Steering Committee of 213 provinces came to work with the Party Committee of Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and the Branch of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank Minh – Dong Thap branch.

Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company's Party Committee is made up of six branches with 156 party members and 21 reserve members. Of the 156 party members, 66 are in charge of the company.
Ground-Level Trade Union Vietnam Medical Union, of which Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company is a part, has 51 trade union groups with a total of 1,123 union members. The Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Trade Union are made up of a lot of party members.
Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh The company Imexpharm is a part of the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies. It has four branches and 135 members.
Four of the five members of the Company's Board of Directors are also on the Executive Committee of the Party. The Secretary of the Party Committee is Ms Tran Thi Dao, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and the General Director of Imexpharm. This is a good situation for leading, directing, and running business activities and Party organizations.
On February 8, 2022, the Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Dong Thap Branch opened. This is the 92nd member of the Party Committee of the provincial agencies and the first branch of a business outside of the government that was set up during the 8th Congress of the Party Committee of the Bloc.
Mr Pham Thien Hai is the Secretary of the Dong Thap Branch of the Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank. He is also the Director of the Dong Thap Branch. At the moment, there are six people at the party. Soon, there will be six more people at the party. The bank has 54 people in the Youth Union, and they are getting ready for the Congress.
After hearing reports on the activities of Party organizations and mass organizations at 02 enterprises, the delegation of the Steering Committee of 213 provinces had ideas and suggested several contents in the process of operation.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Phan Van Thang - Head of Steering Committee of 213 provinces - highly appreciated the attention of leaders of Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Branch Dong Thap to building and developing Party organizations and mass organizations in the unit and hopes that the two businesses will continue to train and foster elite union members and masses to do so.
Mr Phan Van Thang suggested that people who want to join the Party should care about both their material and spiritual lives and give their employees more chances to grow. At the same time, the province will soon have rules for Party activities at businesses that fit the needs of each unit and make it easier to set up classes to teach people about the Party, political theory, etc.
Mr Phan Van Thang said that the Central Committee was holding consultations when the Covid-19 epidemic broke out recently and in regards to the activities of cell branches in the online form for Party organizations with scattered party members. There have been a few units that have used this form.
