DNHN - The Women's Business Association of Hoa Binh province held its first congress for the term 2023-2028 on March 24 in the morning at the province's Cultural Palace, with the theme "Confident integration and development."
The following comrades attended the Congress: Nguyen Phi Long, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Lan Phuong, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.
Hoa Binh Provincial Businesswomen Club was founded in 2018 with approximately 20 members. Up until this point, the club has expanded, bringing the total number of members to 100. The club has supported female entrepreneurs in production and business activities; it promotes intelligence and talent to contribute to socioeconomic development. Protect the legitimate interests of members at the same time; create opportunities for female entrepreneurs to develop balance, life progression, and business skills; advance gender equality and development. In 2022, the province will have over 700 businesses owned by women.
Hoa Binh People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 06-CV/UBND on January 3, 2023, authorizing the formation of the Hoa Binh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association. Consequently, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association was established with the general objective of forming and consolidating the organizational apparatus; formulating and perfecting operational regulations; human resource development; membership development; developing activities and services to generate financial resources to meet the Association's development needs; and strengthening activities to serve the interests of members and businesses, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
The proposed direction of the Association's activities includes fostering relationships with state agencies that reflect the ideas and goals of businesses. Supporting administrative procedure reform and fostering a healthy business environment. Cooperate actively with external organizations and provincial associations to build strength and better serve members. Strengthening member services to attract new members to build up the Association's strength in relations with state agencies. The target number of participants is 300 individuals.
Together with departments, agencies, and sectors, implement policies to assist businesses in finance, credit, interest rates, tax exemptions, and tax reductions... for members, to assist members in overcoming obstacles and stabilizing product development. quickly address the urgent needs of the business. Utilizing the revenue sources effectively to organize more activities for members, with the participation of members increased by the enhancement of many activities through the support of projects. Increase the efficiency of the work of the Executive Committee by assigning responsibility for each specific task.
The apparatus of the Association has enough professional committees to complete the Congress's program. Constantly enhancing the lives of employees to generate motivation, zeal, and enthusiasm for the Association's activities; providing employees with training to enhance their qualifications and professionalism. Organizing training and cooperation activities; enhancing the provision of information to businesses via seminars, training, the website, and a hotline on matters of concern to businesses or current events. Encourage industry groups and production fields in need of association to form associations or branches.
Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh acknowledged and praised the contributions of businesswomen to Hoa Binh province in recent years during his address at the congress. During the term 2023-2028, she proposed that the Provincial Women's Entrepreneurs Association continue to promote the good tradition of Vietnamese women, innovate, set a bright example in life and work, be a typical example, inspire women to study and rise together, and effectively implement the Provincial PHPN Association's emulation movement "Building a new era Hoa Binh woman." Building a network to connect female entrepreneurs, small businesswomen, and typical women entrepreneurs within and beyond the province, thereby creating local jobs and a stable income for people, particularly female workers in the province. Actively contribute to the development of policies and laws about female entrepreneurs, as well as the strengthening of dialogues and proposals with the Party and State, to aid in the resolution of problems for businesses and female entrepreneurs. Provincial businesswomen promote their roles and responsibilities in leading the Association's organization by its purposes and principles. Continue to excel in social, community, charity, and humanitarian work to assist those in need, such as the poor, single women, disabled individuals, orphans, etc.
Comrade Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province believes that the Women's Entrepreneurs Association of the province will be a reliable fulcrum, a place of intellectual convergence for businesswomen to share, exchange experiences, improve expertise and knowledge, protect the legitimate and legitimate interests of female entrepreneurs and female workers in enterprises, and contribute to promoting gender equality and development in Hoa Binh province.
Ms. Vu Thi Hop, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Da Hop Trading Joint Stock Company, was elected President of the Association.
On this occasion, the Congress presented certificates of merit to eight members of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises who have made significant contributions to the construction and development of the President Association of Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprises Association.
