Binh Thuan promotes tourism and OCOP products at the Dien Bien Culture and Tourism Event 2024

DNHN - A special cultural event was recently held in Dien Bien Phu, marking the beginning of the highland cultural space and introducing tourism products for 2024.

The event was attended by Mr Nguyen Trung Khanh - Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr Tieu Hong Phuc - Vice Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Council; and Ms Nguyen Lan Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Within the framework of the National Tourism Year Opening Ceremony - Dien Bien 2024 and the Hoa Ban Festival, this exhibition space is an important part of promoting the culture and tourism of Dien Bien as well as other provinces across the country. With more than 90 booths from 23 provinces and cities, this event is an opportunity to introduce the characteristic products and tourism potential of each locality.

Binh Thuan, along with Binh Dinh, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh, participated in the joint exhibition space with the theme “East Sea - Green Convergence” to introduce the tourism image with “Blue sea, white sand, golden sunshine”, along with new tours, products and services. The Binh Thuan booth also displayed specialities and OCOP products, attracting nearly 1,000 visitors on the opening morning.

The exhibition will continue to take place at the Dien Bien Phu Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Centre with many cultural activities and special culinary experiences for visitors. The cultural and tourism exhibition space will run until March 18th.
