The leader of Binh Duong province says that to get the job market back on track, the province has made it easier for workers to come back to work there. In particular, giving units the task of continuing to work with provinces to make sure policies are in place to help the labour supply: Help with moving, training, fostering, and housing, among other things, to get workers to come back to Binh Duong province to work on production and business.

Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises Nguyen Van Than said that Vietnamese businesses need a lot of workers, especially skilled ones, but the market hasn't been able to meet their needs yet.

The Association asked the government to look into the way employees are paid, come up with a policy for how to treat highly skilled workers, lower the corporate income tax for vocational training institutions, and make it easier for workers to move around at home and abroad, and build cities in industrial parks to serve workers.

According to a report from the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, the province's economy is doing well at the start of 2022. About 80,800 people were hired by about tens of thousands of businesses in the first three months of 2022. But there is only about 51% of that on the market.

In the first half of 2022, 44,000 workers applied for unemployment benefits. This is 7% more than the same time last year. It is expected that there will be more exports and business orders in September 2022. So, in the last few months of the year, businesses will hire again, and they will need about 40,000 to 50,000 workers.

At the same time, quickly set up a labour market information system, make accurate and timely forecasts, and give enough and accurate labour market information to connect labour supply and demand and reduce the difference between supply and demand in the local labour market. Actively and effectively put security policies into place and help employees pay their rent. Pay special attention to workers from outside the province if you want to build a good attitude and keep employees in a stable social situation.

Also, the study suggests policies that would directly help businesses, such as lowering loan interest rates, changing how long it takes to pay back loans, and cutting fees. Proposing ways to help employees directly, like lowering the interest rates on bank loans and lowering the prices of electricity, water, gas, etc. Sectors will also improve vocational training and help workers get into courses so they can get back on the job market.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at the end of the conference that he was very proud of the ministries, branches, and localities that had worked hard to implement solutions to stabilize the post-Covid-19 labour market. The Prime Minister asked for more people to know about the job market and to follow the rules of competition and supply and demand.

Continue to improve institutions, policies, and laws in a way that is consistent and at the same time. This will help the labour market move toward flexibility, modernity, fullness, sustainability, and international integration, which will free up production capacity in a big way. The focus should be on training skilled workers, creating jobs that last, and making sure people have a high income. Give ministries, sectors, and localities the job of improving mechanisms and policies and getting rid of problems to make the labour market more flexible, modern, sustainable, and integrated.
