DNHN - UNESCO and the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha organized the event. Lotus-honoring artworks by Buddhist painter Kim Duc is on display at the exhibition.
The lotus flower has become a symbol of the soul and character of the Vietnamese people after thousands of years of history. In Buddhism, the lotus is the supreme spiritual symbol, representing the Buddha nature inherent in every individual. Buddhist painter Kim Duc has always been inventive and devoted to bringing this flower's symbolic meanings to life in a variety of beautiful images. The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha displayed the painting "Lien Hoa Tinh Canh" by Buddhist artist Kim Duc at the ninth National Buddhist Congress (2022).

The pure symbolic meanings of the lotus flower and the artist Kim Duc's pure desire have been highly valued by UNESCO Hanoi, which has become a co-organizer of this exhibition. The exhibition features 75 lotus paintings by Buddhist painter Kim Duc, as well as his efforts to create, honor, and dedicate the lotus symbol.
The exhibition "Art of SEN VIET 2023 - PURE BEAUTY" aims to evoke positive emotions and inspire each viewer to love life, love others, overcome all obstacles, and gain strength. Strong and devoted as a friend, a loyal companion with high hopes for the future.

Through exhibition activities, the organizers hope to disseminate the Buddha's message of peace, honor artistic creation, and practice the lotus flower's pristine beauty. Perpetual symbolizes the journey of discovering the beauty within the soul, as well as discovering and resonating with like-minded hearts to create true and beautiful values and beauty.


In particular, art enthusiasts who attend the exhibition and play the Minigame "The feeling of loving lotus" will be eligible to win prizes with a total value of up to 100 million VND.
