What is unique at Eclipse Square in Ba Na Hills?

DNHN - Officially launched last July, Eclipse Square is likened to a perfect piece of the dreamland Sun World Ba Na Hills, where the Kingdom of the Sun and the Kingdom of the Moon intersect. There, visitors will "get lost" on an interesting, unique journey.

A new piece of the magical land of Ba Na Hills

In the summer of 2022, Sun World Ba Na Hills surprised visitors when it returned with a unique and different story about two magical lands named Kingdom of the Sun and Kingdom of the Moon. Along with that, an ancient and vast legend has also been cultivated and unfolded by Sun Group on the top of Ba Na Mountain.

It is said that, in the early days, the earth was once inhabited by giants. One day, a meteorite collision caused the giants to hide in the high mountains. The remaining vestige is a pair of fossilized hands reaching out to support the world-famous Golden Bridge. That explosion also "born" two kingdoms of the Sun and the Moon. One side is passionate about the bright sunlight and the excitement. The other side prefers the coolness, reveres the clear and mysterious light of the moon.

Although very close to each other, the road from the Kingdom of the Sun to the Kingdom of the Moon is extremely difficult. To connect the two dream countries, a road was built and named Eclipse Square. It is a very special place, containing in itself the quintessence of both light and darkness, of the moment when the two brightest stars in the sky collide. Eclipse Square became a perfect and beautiful piece at Sun World Ba Na Hills, where guests enjoyed the best of the two kingdoms.

Connecting new architectural complexes with a tight, massive and attractive plot, Sun Group continues to tell visitors about a mysterious and constantly new Ba Na Hills experience.

What's in Eclipse Square?

The most special thing, although it is a "bridge", but the Eclipse Square itself is a masterpiece of art and architecture.

On a large space of more than 60,000 square meters, Eclipse Square has all the experiences found in major squares in the world combined: architecture, art, majestic nature, unique landscapes, cuisine, bustling life, etc. with 3 main subdivisions: square, retail area and restaurant area.

In particular, the most special is the Main Square. If you have ever been enamored with St Peter's Square, Piazza Navona Square in Rome (Italy), visitors will surely find it interesting because they find many similarities in Eclipse square.

Still with classical architecture with ancient castles, reaching out to sculpt into the blue sky, Eclipse Square stands out with its garden of 20 sculptures of the most important goddesses in Greek mythology. That is Hestia - the god of the fire, representing the gathering, reunion; Hebe – goddess of youth, youngest daughter of Zeus and Hera; Artemis – goddess of the hunt, twin sister of Apollo, the most respected person of ancient Greece, etc. How many “faces” will you recognize in the Eclipse Square?

The main highlight of the entire square is the giant glass pyramidal tower resplendent in the majestic natural space. With a unique architectural style, the tower easily reminds visitors of the famous Louvre Museum. Here, visitors can admire the majestic beauty of nature as well as admire the panorama of the Moon Castle. This is also the place where a unique show will be held by Sun World Ba Na Hills in the near future.

Eclipse Square is surrounded by two rows of stone corridors with 59 monolithic pillars from 4 to 7.5m high. Walking among the meticulously crafted architectural complex, visitors feel lost in the agora (public square) space of an ancient Greek city. On the dome, the fresco with the theme of cosmic sky is depicted vividly and emotionally, reminiscent of European masterpieces of the Renaissance period.

The entire interior of the square is covered with marble imported from Egypt and India. A total of 2000 m2 of wall stone and 5000 m2 of floor stone are used to create a bold and attractive medieval space, promising to become a favorite check-in point for visitors when coming to Chua Mountain.

In the future, on the way from Eclipse Square to Moon Castle, visitors will pass through the Volcano area and be immersed in a high-tech show, combining special effects from sound, light, water, smoke and real fire. The Volcano Region is an amazing landscape location, inspired by the love story of a giant girl for a hunter in the mythical land. A story told by the art of visual sculpture and sound and light will bring visitors strong and impressive emotions, promising to be a place where each visitor will truly live in the magic of the mythical world.
