Additionally, during CES, VinFast declared that it will cease production of gasoline-powered vehicles by the end of 2022 and transition to a pure-electric vehicle manufacturer (other automakers around the world frequently announce plans to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles by 2030, 2035, or 2040...).

VinFast launched the global sale of its two top electric SUV models, the VF 8 and VF 9, at CES. VinFast has received a total of 24,308 orders on Global for its two electric car models, the VF 8 and VF 9.
