University of Business and Technology launches HUBT Entrepreneur Club

DNHN - The Employment Information Survey and Entrepreneurship Training Centre of Hanoi University of Business and Technology (HUBT) launched the HUBT Entrepreneurs Club with a ceremony on May 19.

The HUBT Entrepreneurs Club was established by Decision No. 08/QD-TTKSVL dated May 15, 2023, with the following guiding principles: Voluntary, autonomous, self-governing; Democracy, equality, openness, transparency, and consensus; Self-financed operating expenses, operating for non-profit purposes. Comply with the law, the Hanoi University of Business and Technology Charter, and the University-recognized Club Charter; To increase membership so that many graduate students, graduate students, and University alumni who are currently business owners are aware of the club's activities and actively participate in them.

Assoc. Ha Duc Tru - Vice Rector of the school, shared at the launch that since the school was founded in 1996, numerous students and graduates have started businesses or held key positions at universities. State agencies, private businesses in commercial banks, and state-owned enterprises.
Assoc., Ph.D. Ha Duc Tru stated that recognizing and considering these factors as factors that need to be replicated is the school's pride; therefore when the Employment Survey and Startup Training Centre proposed to establish HUBT Entrepreneurs Club to gather Former students, alumni of the University, and business leaders who are cooperating with the University to create job opportunities for students, the Board of Directors was very supportive and strongly agreed with this proposal.

This is a difficult job that requires a great deal of time and effort to connect with former students and alumni, who are extremely busy with work and must deal with numerous organizational stages. and operation" - Associate, Ph.D. Ha Duc Tru's words.

Assoc. Dr. Pham Van Dang - Director of the Centre for Employment Survey - Entrepreneurship Training - stated at the ceremony that there are currently 114,636 graduates, many of whom are business owners and wish to join the HUBT Entrepreneur Club.
"Bring them together to perform the aforementioned function so that the school has a sustainable backyard, creates momentum to improve learning quality, has an application-oriented training program, and its students have The idea of starting a business and starting a business, and getting a job right out of high school," Mr. Dang advised.

According to Mr. Pham Hoang Anh, Chairman of the HUBT Entrepreneurs Club, the club's mission is to connect business leaders and entrepreneurs who are alumni, former students, and graduate students of Hanoi University of Business and Technology and their partners. Since then, we will encourage and promote the entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurship among students.
Share your entrepreneurial experience while simultaneously creating the conditions for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the hiring needs of businesses. This enhances the university's reputation, brand, and image by providing graduates with greater employment opportunities, self-assurance, job security, and the ability to launch a successful business.
It is known that the Centre for Employment Survey and Startup Training founded the HUBT Student Startup Club in 2019 with approximately 80 members.
In the past four years, this club has promoted its efficacy by assisting the school in organizing two startup idea contests with nearly forty participant ideas, two job fairs, and the Entrepreneur Journey Forum, which was attended by over one thousand students.
