DNHN - The Ministry of Finance has also sent an official letter of correction to the provinces' and centrally-run cities' lottery companies, the Vietnam Lottery One Member LLC, and the provinces' and cities' People's Committees.
The central government is responsible for coordinating, managing, and supervising lottery business operations and guaranteeing compliance with applicable laws.
The Ministry of Finance has already issued news releases concerning enterprises that offer the service "Set 1 to 70," where the results are computed using the final two numbers of the Northern Lottery's special prize and certain websites and is working with the Ministry of Public Safety and the Ministry of Information and Communications to make sure that these cases are handled properly and in accordance with law.
Additionally, the Ministry of Finance issued an Official Letter to rectify and send it to provincial and centrally-run city lottery companies, the Vietnam Computerized Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company, and provincial and centrally-run city People's Committees to coordinate, manage, and supervise lottery business activities while remaining faithful to applicable laws. Violations involving the distribution of lottery tickets will be prosecuted severely.
According to lottery business rules (Decree No. 75/2013/TT-BTC dated June 4, 2013 providing detailed guidance on lottery business activities), traditional lottery tickets are only permitted to be distributed in the manner specified (direct sales)- straight to clients or through the lottery agent distribution system).
Besides, companies who provide the "Put 1 to 70" service, where the results are computed using the final two digits of the Northern Lottery special prize, and certain websites and service providers that sell lottery tickets, may be a good place to start. to profit from the legitimate lottery industry, and perhaps to organize gambling.
