Thanh Hoa: The Sao Mai Resort project has begun

DNHN - On June 10, the Sao Mai Team demonstrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sao Mai Thanh Hoa Resort project in Tho Lam commune (Tho Xuan - Thanh Hoa). This is a complex tourist area "spiritual - discovery picnic about the source" project to capitalize on the advantages and tourism potentials that this land offers, while also meeting the demand for accommodation and vacation, and entertainment for domestic and international tourists.

Attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Mr Nguyen Dinh Xuong, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Quang Hung, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Dao Xuan Yen, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Thi, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr Le Thanh Thuan, General Director of Sao Mai Group; representatives of several provincial-level departments and branches; representatives of several districts, towns and cities in the province, together with partners and customers of the Group.

The Sao Mai Thanh Hoa Resort project has been invested in and erected on a total area of about 54 hectares, with a total investment of VND 1,400 billion, with a capacity of 1,200 guests. The project is situated in a highly favourable location to develop tourism, business, and a high-class resort town, less than 10 kilometres from Tho Xuan Airport and around 1.5 kilometres from Lam Kinh Special National Monument. According to the plan, the Sao Mai Thanh Hoa Resort will be built in two stages, with the following features: Tinh Tam Hill, Pearl Island, Diamond Island, villa area, event centre, water music system, underground bungalow chain, mountain bungalow, floating bungalow on the lake, mud bath - mineral bath... Pearl Island will be a distinct leisure area from the other utilitarian sectors.

This site will be created around the notion of enjoying nature via different themes, such as a commercial area, high-end shopping, and entertainment area (music, water, nightclub), and so on. The main point Sao Mai Group constructed an overflow drainage system in the lakebed area, which keeps the lake's water level continually balanced, and this is also a very unique check-in spot for visitors with care.
The Sao Mai Thanh Hoa Resort project, once operational, will create a strong driving force to promote the exploitation of Thanh Hoa province's tourism potential while also contributing to the creation of stable and long-term jobs for many workers in the region, increasing budget revenue, and changing the socio-economic face of the locality.

Mr Nguyen Van Thi, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Sao Mai Thanh Hoa Resort project is an important event, with the goal of gradually concretizing Resolution No. -NQ/TU dated January 10, 2022, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the construction and development of Tho Xuan district to 2030, with a vision to 2045, and soon transforming Tho Xuan district into a town before its time. It is a significant factor in transforming Thanh Hoa into a new economic hub in the north of the nation. The development of the project was initiated as a consequence of the investor's meticulous planning and study; the efforts and efforts of the branches and levels; and the consensus and support of the local populace. Mr Nguyen Van Thi, on behalf of the provincial officials, congratulated and praised Sao Mai Group for selecting Thanh Hoa province to invest in this significant project.
In response to the trust of investors, he suggested all levels and branches, especially the District Party Committee, Tho Xuan District People's Committee; Party committees, authorities, mass organizations and people in the project area must accompany and coordinate well with investors and contractors to solve or propose timely settlement of difficulties and problems in the implementation process to carry out the project with the highest responsibility; ensure good security, social order and safety, creates all conditions for the investor to implement the project most conveniently, on schedule, soon complete and put the project into operation.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Sao Mai Group devote all of its resources to money, human resources, equipment, and machinery to complete the construction on time and with complete labour safety and environmental cleanliness. Mr Nguyen Van Thi believes that, with the prestige and experience of the Sao Mai Group, as well as the support and companionship of Party committees, authorities at all levels, and local people, the investor will implement the project to ensure safety with the quickest progress and highest quality, so that Tho Xuan has a worthy accommodation, contributing to the development and exploitation of the district's potential relics and landscapes.
