DNHN - In recent years, Thai Nguyen province's government has strengthened solutions to support and promote trade, improve product quality, and at the same time step up inspection and supervision, resolutely putting poor quality products out of the OCOP program, thus tightening and improving product quality.
Thai Nguyen has long been famous for tea products with the saying "Thai tea, Tuyen girl" so tea products in Thai Nguyen province have long been favoured by consumers. Recognizing such advantages, the government and people of Thai Nguyen province are constantly making efforts to strengthen trade promotion as well as tighten and improve product quality. Thanks to that, there are now proud results such as Tan Cuong Midland Tea Cooperative, in Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen city, there are 2 OCOP certified products. The unit has regularly checked for residues of pesticides, antibiotics, and growth stimulants of OCOP tea products, which is very necessary.

According to information from Mr Nguyen Thanh Duong - Director of Tan Cuong Midland Tea Cooperative shared: In addition to periodic inspection by departments, the cooperative always maintains and promotes the production and processing process according to hygienic standards. food safety.
Through testing, it is known that most cooperative enterprises are aware that if they do not improve the quality of their products, their products and brands will be eliminated by themselves. OCOP-certified tea growers and processors always focus on the quality of each product before going to the market and resolutely exclude unqualified products.
According to information from Mr Vu Van Phan - Director of Thai Nguyen Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Sub-Department, shared: during the inspection and supervision process, if it is discovered that violating subjects and producing products that are not quality assurance will be handled following the provisions of law.
As a result, by the end of 2021, the province has 129 OCOP products evaluated and rated from 3 stars or more, of which 2 products meet the national 5-star OCOP standard. The fact that cooperatives and enterprises have improved their sense of self-discipline and responsibility to comply with and enforce regulations to ensure OCOP product quality has helped the province's OCOP program become more and more effective, increasing more products. quality products, dominate the domestic and foreign markets.
