Quy Nhon tourism explodes in the first half of 2022, surpassing Khanh Hoa and Da Nang

DNHN - The number of tourists to Quy Nhon and Binh Dinh increased in the final days of July. Beaches, upgraded attractions, and several storage facilities are fully operational.

Quy Nhon is having an exciting tourism season 

According to statistics from the Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, the province welcomed nearly 2.3 million visitors in the first half of 2022, a 92 per cent increase over the same period; international visitors are estimated at more than 24,000, and total tourism revenue is estimated at more than 4,180 billion, a 161 per cent increase over the same period. Notably, when compared to other traditional tourism markets in the Central region, such as Khanh Hoa (approximately 1,046 million arrivals) and Da Nang (about 1.32 million arrivals), the tourism business in Binh Dinh province has grown. 

"My family used to travel to Nha Trang and Da Nang in previous years." This summer, seeing how thrilled my friends were to try out new things in Quy Nhon, my entire family decided to buy tickets to visit at the end of July. My young one loved it since it was about to watch a modern water music performance followed by a unique traditional martial arts show, and I had packed much lovely clothing to check-in in Hai Giang, Ky Co - Eo Gio, Trung Luong..." Ms Hoai Tam, a visitor in Hanoi, enthusiastically expressed this. 

Mr Tran Van Thanh, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, stated that it is expected that Binh Dinh would receive at least 1 million tourists in the next three months due to the constant organization of tourism events. It is worth noting that the final phase of Miss World Vietnam - Miss World Vietnam 2022 - will be placed at MerryLand Quy Nhon from July 16 to August 13, 2022, with over 10,000 visitors scheduled to visit the beach resort. Many hotels and lodging companies reported they were fully booked for the next two months under this attraction.

Putting the ambition of being a worldwide vacation destination into action

Binh Dinh province plans to welcome 4 million domestic and foreign tourists in 2022 and to be Asia's leading destination by 2030. Along with that, take a trip down the lovely canal to shop and eat in the bustling Bizhouse streets, or experience luxury aboard the largest double-hull yacht in Southeast Asia, which will be ready to serve in a matter of days.

The tourist picture of the seaside city is continually being built up with fresh and unique hues. For example, the popular tourist location Ky Co - "Maldives Vietnam" has recently launched a pleasant bungalow housing system, as well as more innovative kinds of on-site amusement and entertainment... In the "dream season," Nhon beach area Hai, Hon Kho Island also became the "hottest" this summer. Diverse tours such as scuba diving, paddle boarding, coral viewing through glass-bottomed basket boats, and night squid fishing are marketed. 

Previously, the Binh Dinh Province Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation (in Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon) began operations. This is Vietnam's first space scientific centre and the second in Southeast Asia, after Singapore.

From the beginning of the summer till today, this location has had over 1,000 visitors each day on average. A variety of hands-on activities, creative experiences, and intriguing scientific findings using scientific models and innovative technology equipment enthral people of all ages.
