DNHN - Over the course of 10 years of living and working in Vietnam, Mr Kwon JaeHaeng determined that Vietnam had several investment strengths. Maybe that's why he spends so much time as a bridge for Vietnam-Korea collaboration.

Mr Kwon recalls the sensation he had upon opting to live and work in Vietnam to serve as a link between Vietnam and Korea. "Among several prospective Southeast Asian nations, I chose Vietnam because I am fascinated with the spirit of the Vietnamese people. The industrious, hardworking Vietnamese people are energetic and hardworking," he said. Furthermore, Vietnam, like Korea, is inspired by Confucianism, which is seen in corporate culture as the organizational hierarchy accounts for a large portion of the corporate culture and the feeling of duty and obligation according to the corporate culture.
"My delight is multiplied when I reflect on my ten years of living and working in Vietnam; I have been of tremendous assistance to both people and enterprises, and I have participated in many initiatives to benefit both the economy and the globe." Mr Kwon JaeHaeng, President of KVEEC and Chief Representative of the Korean Multicultural Organization, talked about social security in the two countries.
Increasing market share in Vietnam
The Korean Multicultural Organization was founded in 2013 with the initial goal of teaching Korean and assisting multicultural families, workers, and foreign students in Korea with different challenges. Small issues such as travelling to the hospital and daily activities So far, the organization has grown rather large and has had several accomplishments.
Mr Kwon JaeHaeng's firm has been moving to Vietnam and carrying out several relevant operations since 2015. "Initially, when we arrived in Vietnam, we collaborated with Tan Trieu Primary School to help and grant scholarships to kids in tough situations, as well as bring some children with illnesses," Mr Kwon said.
An uncommon medical ailment in Vietnam has prompted a trip to Korea for free treatment. Since 2016, we have worked with the Labor Culture Palace and several significant businesses, like Vin Group, to assist children in challenging situations as well as children with health issues.
Mr Kwon also worked with the Korea-Vietnam Economic Support Committee in addition to the Korean Multicultural Organization. KVEEC promotes exchange projects between Korea and Vietnam.
Regarding KVEEC's major operations, they prepare economic delegations from Korea to Vietnam to assess the market and link commerce between the two nations; also, KVEEC aims to exchange inputs regularly. They also conduct seminars so that Korean firms interested in entering the Vietnamese market understand the measures to take.
Mr Kwon JaeHaeng, who has lived and worked in Vietnam for over ten years, believes that Vietnam is one of the nations with many strong qualities to attract investment and that Korea, after Japan, is a very significant investment destination. a great deal in Vietnam. And because Korea and Vietnam are so similar, more and more Korean companies are investing and doing business in Vietnam.

Look for opportunities amid adversity
Amid a two-year epidemic, both Korea and Vietnam had to make significant efforts to overcome problems and impediments. At this moment, the position of a leader is more important than ever; they must not only assist people and organizations in reviving, but they must also be accountable to society.
Mr Kwon highlighted his participation by saying, "The Korean Multicultural Organization and KVECC are not out of the woods yet." However, we have attempted to go deep and discover solutions that leverage organizations' challenges and make them more active.
Because the Korean side recognizes the severe circumstances of Vietnam's epidemic, we have aggressively urged Korean firms to see the COVID-19 pandemic as a chance for small and medium-sized enterprises. We also actively engage in efforts to assist women and children.
Through the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, KVECC and the Korean Multicultural Organization recently donated 10,000 COVID-19 test kits. They also visited orphans and impoverished families in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City during the last Lunar New Year, giving everyday essentials.

Many small and medium-sized companies fled Vietnam during the previous epidemic, resulting in many negative stories, but Mr Kwon and the organization played an important role in encouraging and assisting individuals and businesses to work together to tackle this challenge.
More and more partners and enterprises are approaching KVECC to offer collaboration. Despite the hardships, COVID-19 has taught Mr Kwon many things. "Rather than sitting about because of challenges, we may join hands to aid one another in times of need." After all, we now have greater trust from everyone. "The Korean Multicultural Organization and KVECC may now function and expand," he said.
Shortly, Mr Kwon and KVECC will support the operations of the Korean Multicultural Organization and will take the lead in connecting and trading firms between Korea and Vietnam.
Korea invests in Vietnam. He will also help Vietnamese companies that want to do business in Korea get access to their markets and will do everything he can to help businesses that are having trouble getting into Vietnam.
"I expect that many changes will occur in the domains of investment, collaboration, and institutions in the future years to enable the two nations' enterprises to grow closer together." "I hope the government will develop simpler and more accessible policies for foreign partners, particularly us Koreans," said Mr Kwon.
