DNHN - There were 4,317 recruitment indicators for unskilled workers, 2,819 for intermediate and technical workers, and 2,102 for workers with post-college education.
On May 16, the Hanoi Employment Service Centre collaborated with Employment Service Centres of Northern provinces (including Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, and Vinh Phuc) to organise an online job session connecting eight provinces and cities with the participation of over 150 businesses.
This job session's recruitment target exceeded 9,200, with the recruitment of workers in electronic manufacturing and leather shoe production accounting for over 4,500 targets.
The demand for unskilled workers accounted for 4,317 indicators, followed by those with intermediate qualifications, technical workers with 2,819 indicators, and college and university graduates with 2,102 indicators.
The percentage of recruitment firms with salaries between 7-10 million VND/month was the highest with 3,428 targets, followed by those with salaries between 5-7 million VND/month with 2,287 targets, and those with salaries of 10 million VND/month or more with 2,026 targets.
Companies such as Hong Ha Stationery Joint Stock Company, Phuc Hung Thinh Limited Liability Company, International Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - IDP, and Airlines participated in the Hanoi job fair. No Vietjet Air… Manager, assistant sales manager, office worker, consultant, and import-export employee vacancies exist.
The Ministry of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs predict that the labour market in the following months of 2023 will also face many risks and challenges, particularly in the context that the Covid-19 epidemic is still affecting; a decrease in purchasing power in export markets; inflation, rising prices, tight monetary policy..., resulting in a decline in the total demand for goods in the world and the import demand of major markets.
This causes domestic businesses to lose orders, disrupts global supply chains, and impedes production, particularly in industries such as processing, manufacturing, textiles, footwear, etc., resulting in the continued loss of jobs and a reduction in working hours and wages.
To stabilise the labour market in the future, the Ministry will continue to implement solutions to strengthen connectivity and regulate labour supply and demand; encourage job creation in both the public and private sectors; and encourage workers to find and switch jobs based on their skills and strengths.
In addition, the Ministry will assess and comprehend the recruitment demand situation, as well as the production and business cuts of enterprises, particularly FDI enterprises and labour-intensive industries (clothing and textiles). clothing, leather shoes, wood production, etc.) to have a plan to connect labour supply and demand; increase the frequency of job sessions, prioritise online job sessions, and support employees when participating in job transactions (travel expenses, etc.).
