Inaugurated two North-South expressways Mai Son - National Highway 45 and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay

DNHN - On the morning of April 29, 2023, the Ministry of Transport coordinated with the provinces of Thanh Hoa and Binh Thuan to inaugurate and open two routes at the Mai Son - National Highway 45 (65 km) and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay (99 km) sections.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and numerous high-ranking central and local leaders attended the opening ceremony to reduce traffic on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, Mai Son - National Highway 45 routes.
The project was inaugurated online at two bridge points: the Phan Thiet intersection in Ham Kiem commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province (in the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay section), and the southern portion of the Thung Thi tunnel. Ha Linh commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province (part of the Mai Son - National Highway 45 corridor).
These are the largest-scale projects that play the most significant role in connecting the Central provinces to Hanoi and the South Central provinces to Ho Chi Minh City, respectively. Contributing to the completion of the national motorway network and socio-economic development, to complete 3,000 kilometres of motorways by 2025.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the East North-South route construction project for the period 2017-2020 has a total length of 652,68 kilometres and is comprised of eleven projects (3 PPP investment projects and 8 public investment projects). Investments amount to approximately 118,716 billion dongs.
By the end of April 2023, the Cao Bo - Mai Son (15,2 km) and Cam Lo - La Son (98,3 km) component projects will be operational. The Mai Son - National Highway 45 projects are over 63 kilometres in length with a total investment of over 12,111 billion VND (53.67 kilometres have been completed, leaving approximately 9 kilometres to be completed by June 30, 2023). The Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway is 99 kilometres long and was put into operation on April 29, 2023, after a total investment of approximately VND 12,500 billion.

Vinaconex is one of four contractors participating in the major components of the project, including Motorway section Mai Son - National Highway 45 in partnership with Trung Nam E&C Company as the contractor for the XL-14 package, or a joint venture with the contractor. The contractor for Trung Chinh executes package 3 - XL on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway. Package for the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet motorway in collaboration with Vinaconex E&C Company. Additionally, as a member of the joint venture, Vinaconex was chosen to participate in the construction of a second package on the North-South Motorway.
It is common knowledge that Vinaconex has operated in numerous fields, including real estate, industrial, civil, and infrastructure construction, among others. The Corporation has been in charge of numerous infrastructure projects over the past 35 years. Vinaconex participated in numerous bidding packages for the North-South motorway project, including the XL package for the Van Phong to Nha Trang section, which has a length of 30.85 kilometres and a total investment of 3,549 billion VND.
