DNHN - At the Asia Insurance Awards, Igloo, an insurtech (insurance technology) company, won the “Mobile Application - Vietnam of the Year” award from leading insurance companies.
With this platform, Igloo has helped improve the efficiency of agents and successfully issued nearly 70,000 insurance policies to date. In Vietnam, entering its third year since launch, the Ignite by Igloo digital platform has attracted more than 35,000 agents, serving customers across all 63 provinces in the country.
Last year, Ignite expanded its features from 9 to 20 advanced features to enhance usability and increase agent productivity. This has helped increase user satisfaction rates from neutral to satisfied to over 95%, with agents highly appreciating factors such as “simple registration process,” “comprehensive coverage,” and “easy quotation and usage process,” which are standout features that promote platform usability.
A survey conducted by technology impact measurement company 60 Decibels on over 300 agents showed that nearly 60% of respondents reported an increase in income since becoming Ignite partners. Additionally, 76% of Ignite agents stated that they have learned useful skills, and 73% have had the opportunity to advance in their current roles.
Mr. Raunak Mehta, Co-founder and CEO of Igloo, said: “Ignite is a crucial tool that helps agents improve productivity and enhance customer service and interaction. This not only improves operational efficiency but also contributes to the increase in insurance penetration rates in the region. After only two years of operation, the agent satisfaction rate has reached 73.5%, which is a significant motivation for us. We will continue to provide the best tools and training programs to help agents succeed.”
To mark this important milestone and demonstrate its commitment to making insurance more accessible, Igloo is heavily investing in strategies to expand its agent network in Vietnam. As part of this effort, Igloo has launched a new microsite for Ignite, iglooinsure.com/ignite, to support agent recruitment and provide rich, useful content for individuals interested in full-time or part-time insurance sales work. Additionally, Ignite is also offered as a white-label solution for insurance companies looking to digitize their agents' operations and sales processes.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu Tri, Director of Igloo Vietnam, shared: “Ignite has revolutionized the way insurance agents work, making their jobs simpler and more efficient. The success of Ignite agents and the continuous growth of our agent network in Vietnam and across the region is clear evidence of this. We believe that many insurance agents and customers will benefit from advanced technology like Ignite, making it easier for everyone to access insurance.”
It is known that Igloo recently officially launched Ignite in the Philippines, where digital tools play an important role in enhancing agent productivity and contributing to increasing the insurance penetration rate, which is currently still low at 1.75%. This insurtech company also aims to expand Ignite to other markets in the region, to help insurance agents sell more easily, quickly, and efficiently.
