Hoi An, a beautiful ancient city in Vietnam, ranks thirteenth on this list with a score of 87.86. Simultaneously, Ho Chi Minh City, the dynamic capital of Vietnam, placed 14th with a score of 87.64 points.

Hoi An has been honoured by Travel+Leisure with prestigious awards on multiple occasions. Previously, Hoi An was voted the best city in the world for 2019 and ranked among the top 10 Asian cities in 2018 and the top 50 travel destinations for 2019.
Hoi An, located in central Vietnam, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its ancient architecture and unique cultural values. The city was once a renowned trading port at the crossroads of numerous cultures.
Hoi An is situated between a vast river, verdant rice paddies, and lovely beaches, creating a timeless space. Bright yellow homes, blooming bougainvillaea, and verdant countryside create a vivid scene and enchanted evenings.
According to Travel+Leisure, Hoi An in particular emits a positive energy due to the locals' friendliness and warmth.

The "World's Best Awards" list by Travel+Leisure is compiled based on the actual experiences of travellers from around the world and includes hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas and spas, top airlines, and many other categories.
