Hai Phong bans road for the pilot pedestrian street in Do Son tourist area

DNHN - From 19:00 to 23:00, the Hai Phong Department of Transport will prohibit all vehicular traffic on Van Huong Street, from Con Deer Fork to Ngo Quyen guesthouse, except priority vehicles.

The Department of Transport in Hai Phong has just issued notice number 131 /TB-SGTVT regarding the traffic separation of Van Huong Street from Con Deer Fork to Ngo Quyen guesthouse in area 2 of the Do Son tourist area.

To separate traffic and ensure traffic safety during the piloting of the pedestrian street from Con Deer junction to Ngo Quyen guesthouse on Van Huong Street (zone 2 of the Do Son tourist area), the Department of Transport in Hai Phong has announced that all vehicles will be prohibited from traveling on the section of Van Huong Street from Con Deer fork to Ngo Quyen motel between the hours of 19:00 and 23:00 (except priority vehicles according to regulations).

Outside of the aforementioned window, traffic is normal.

The Department of Transportation requests that drivers of motorized vehicles adhere to the road sign system and traffic regulation functional forces at the scene.

The Do Son pedestrian street was inaugurated on April 29, 2022. On the Van Huong route, the street stretches 700 meters from the Deer Fork to the Ngo Quyen guesthouse. This is the first pedestrian street to be constructed in Do Son, at a total cost of nearly 15 billion VND.
