For the first time, Vietnamese lychee went to China via Mong Cai City

DNHN - The export of lychee products through Mong Cai city contributes to supporting the export of Vietnamese agricultural products while the Chinese side continues to maintain strict Covid-19 prevention and control the customs clearance activities at a high level.

According to information from the Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board, recently, China has started to re-import Vietnamese agricultural products.

On 9/7, there were 3 tracks of fresh lychee with a total output of 64.7 tons, worth nearly 600 million VND for the first time being exported to China through the opening of the temporary pontoon bridge Km3+4 Hai Yen (Mong Cai city).

Mong Cai's Center for Communication - Culture City said that all goods and vehicles carrying agricultural products that are cleared for export to China are streamed, medically inspected, tested, and tested strictly for antigens to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.

The export of lychee products through Mong Cai City contributes to supporting the export of Vietnamese agricultural products while the Chinese side continues to maintain strict Covid-19 prevention measures and control the customs clearance activities at a high level.

This is also a good signal for the import-export trade of Mong Cai City shortly when exported goods through border gates in the city are more and more diversified, contributing to increasing the volume of customs clearance goods and the value of goods imported and exported through the area.

By the end of June 30, 2022, the total weight of goods passing through the border gates in Mong Cai city reached over 270,000 tons; goods import and export turnover reached over 1,400 million USD, attracting 128 new enterprises, bringing the total number of enterprises carrying out import and export procedures to 455 enterprises.
