Double discount for round-trip train tickets in summers 2023

DNHN - For individuals or groups purchasing round-trip collective tickets (applicable for the return trip) during the peak summer season of 2023, Hanoi Railways will reduce the price by an additional 5%.
Instead of a 5% fare reduction for individuals or groups of passengers purchasing round-trip collective tickets (applied for the return trip) during the peak summer of 2023, Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will apply an additional 5% discount.
From Monday, May 24 through Saturday, August 20, passengers purchasing round-trip tickets for trains in the odd-numbered area SE20 and SE18 (Da Nang - Hanoi route), QB2 and QB4 (Dong Hoi - Hanoi route), NA2 and SE36 (route Vinh-Hanoi) managed by the Company will receive an additional 5% discount (applies to return tickets).

Previously, Hanoi Railway Transport stated that the railway applies regulations to exchange and return train tickets during the summer until August 30, particularly for the North-South route, based on the train's brand and distance traveled. Applicable to the Unified brand names between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, including SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8, SE9/SE10, SE11/SE12; ship marks between Hanoi and Da Nang, Hanoi and Dong Hoi, Hanoi and Vinh, Saigon and Nha Trang, Saigon and Quy Nhon, Saigon and Da Nang, Saigon, and Phan Thiet.
The minimum ticket price for regular individual and group tickets (no discount policy when purchasing tickets far in advance) is 10,000 VND per ticket. Individual tickets that are changed 24 hours or more before the train's departure will incur a fee of 20,000 VND per ticket; under 24 hours, the ticket cannot be changed. Group tickets cannot be exchanged.
When purchasing train tickets, prepayment of 24 hours or more incurs a 10% fee; prepayment of 4 hours to less than 24 hours incurs a 20% fee; and prepayment of less than 4 hours does not incur a fee.
With group tickets, a prepaid train time of 72 hours or more incurs a 10% fee; a prepaid train time of 24 hours to less than 72 hours incurs a 20% fee; and a prepaid train time of less than 24 hours incurs no fee.
When purchasing tickets far in advance of a train's departure, the discount policy, the prepayment time, and the fee are applicable.
Individual tickets on Thong Nhat passenger trains with a transport distance of 900km or more, the Saigon-Da Nang train SE21/SE22 with a transport distance of 600km or more, the Saigon-Quy Nhon train SE29/SE30 with a transport distance of 400km or more, and the Saigon-Nha Trang SNT train with a transport distance of 300km or more: Tickets are discounted by 5-10%, and the exchange and return fees are by current regulations; Tickets with a 20% or 30% discount must be changed and paid for 72 hours before the train's departure; the fee is equal to the discount.
Specifically for SE1/SE2 and SE5/SE6 trains departing between 18 May and 20 August 2023, you will receive a 15% discount on the fare when exchanging or returning tickets 20-39 days before departure. 20% of the fare will be deducted from tickets purchased less than 40 days before the train's departure date; when you change or return your ticket, you will be charged a 30% discount on the fare. The deadline for exchange and return must also be 72 hours before the departure time of the train.
