Domestic construction steel prices have declined for the twelfth consecutive month.

DNHN - According to Steel Online data, the domestic construction steel price has been adjusted down for the twelfth consecutive time, bringing the price of many types of steel to less than 14 million VND per tonne.
In particular, according to Steel Online's data, the Hoa Phat Steel brand in the North decreased by VND 250,000/ton with CB240 coil, to a price of 14,04 million VND/ton; D10 CB300 rebar is reduced by 210,000 VND/ton, and the current price is 14,48 million VND/ton.
In the Central region, Hoa Phat Steel's CB240 coil and D10 CB300 rebar prices fell by 200,000 VND/ton, to 13.84 million VND/ton and 14.34 million VND/ton, respectively.
In the South, the price of Hoa Phat Steel's CB240 coil decreased by 170,000 VND/ton, to 14.14 million VND/ton; the price of Rebar D10 CB300 decreased by 200,000 VND/ton, to 14.44 million VND/ton.
In the North, brands such as Viet Duc Steel, Viet Italy Steel, Viet Nhat Steel, Viet Sing Steel, and Viet My Steel,... decreased concurrently with the trend.

Thus, from the beginning of the year to the present, the price of domestic construction steel has decreased twelve times consecutively; the frequency of price adjustments varies by brand. The price per tonne of steel is currently less than 14 million Vietnamese Dong.
According to the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), the continuous decline in domestic steel prices is a result of the global steel price trend. Moreover, the prices of steel production inputs have decreased.
