DNHN - Sun Group and the Da Nang City People's Committee have announced that the Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023 (DIFF 2023) will take place from June 3 to July 8, 2023.
After a three-year hiatus due to an epidemic, the Danang People's Committee and Sun Group will host the Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023 (DIFF 2023) from June 3 to July 8, 2023, with the theme "The world without distance." DIFF 2023 is also the centerpiece of the program "WOW Da Nang," which is part of Sun Group's nationwide tourism promotion campaign "WOW Vietnam."
DIFF 2023 will take place on the fireworks stage on the Han River, with eight fireworks teams participating. Included are seven international teams, including England, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, and Finland, as well as the home team from Da Nang, Vietnam.
According to a representative of Sun Group, both the domestic tourism industry and the business are still in a difficult position. Nevertheless, the organization of this festival is an attempt to contribute to the tourism industry's recovery.
It is known that during the 2019 Danang International Fireworks Festival, the enterprise contributed close to 150 billion VND to the event's organization. During the festival, nearly one million domestic and international tourists visit the city of Da Nang.
On the evening of June 3, 2023, the opening competition of the Danang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023 will take place between Vietnam and Finland.
The following evenings will feature matches between Canada and France (10-6); Australia and Italy (17 June); and Poland and England (June 24). The conclusion will occur on August 7, in the evening.
In addition to the spectacular fireworks displays, the city also hosts exciting events during the festival to enhance the visitors' experience.
This is the eleventh year that DIFF has been held in Da Nang. This is also one of the cultural events that create its brand for the city of Da Nang and contributes to the city being recognized twice as "Asia's leading festival-event destination," creating the image that Da Nang is a dynamic, festival-filled city that welcomes visitors year-round.
With the re-emergence of DIFF 2023, it is anticipated that Da Nang will quickly break through, achieve spectacular growth milestones, and contribute to the tourism recovery of Vietnam shortly.
