Ho Chi Minh City, Malaysia Madani Week takes place from June 9 to 18

DNHN - In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Vietnam, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City will host 'Malaysia Madani Week' from 9 to 18 June 2023.
This is the first event to unite Malaysian brands from the commercial, educational, and tourism sectors.
Throughout the week, several events take place, including the "Malaysia Madani Pavilion" (Malaysia Madani Pavilion), which brings together over thirty Malaysian brands catering to cross-industry products, services, and business networks, such as petroleum products, construction, lifestyle, healthcare, banking and hotels, and education.
The "Malaysia Education Fair" (Malaysian Education Exhibition) programme facilitates exchanges, connections, and study-abroad advice with 11 Malaysian public and private universities. The Consulate General will work with the Centre for Training and Fostering Diplomatic Knowledge and Foreign Languages - CEFALT to establish the 'Malaysian Classroom'. The universities' representatives will meet to discuss potential avenues of cooperation. Consequently, holding a supplementary session with the Executive Director of the Malaysian Centre for Global Education Services (EMGS) to discuss opportunities for conducting additional research in Malaysia.
In addition, during Malaysia Madani week, there is a programme titled "Promoting Culture and Cuisine" at partner hotels, including Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Hotel Des Arts Saigon, Pullman Saigon, and Sheraton Saigon, featuring eight renowned Malaysian chefs. Prepare delectable Malaysian dishes for visiting guests.
Malaysia Madani Week is an opportunity for the two countries to strengthen their friendship, unity, and solidarity, to make bilateral cooperation a reality and effective, and to contribute to the construction and maintenance of a peaceful, stable, and prosperous environment in the region. In addition to highlighting the significance of the strategic partnership between Malaysia and Vietnam, this statement also affirms the two nations' solidarity and close cooperation.
