According to the General Department of Customs, Vietnam exported 40,000 tons of cashews worth $241 million in March 2022. That's up 57% in volume and 59% in value from the same time last year.

This is how it will look in February 2022: There will be less volume and less money than there was in March of last year.
For cashew nuts that were exported from Vietnam in March 2022, the average export price was estimated to be $6,024 per ton, which was up 1.2% from February 2022 and 3.2% more than the price in March of last year.
As a general rule, in the first three months of 2022, the average export price of cashew nuts from Vietnam is expected to be 5,974 USD/ton, which is up 1.8% from the same period in 2021. Cashew nuts W320, W240, and WS/WB still make up the bulk of Vietnam's cashew nut exports.
Which, W320 cashew nuts made up 38.7% of the volume and 44.2 per cent of the value of exports in the first two months of 2022. It was worth $171.83 million to export W320 cashew nuts in the first two months of 2022. That's down 10.4% in volume and 5.5% in value compared to the same time last year.
Some countries stopped buying cashew nuts from W320, such as the Netherlands and Canada. They also cut back on buying cashew nuts from W320.
W320 cashew nut exports to the US, Germany, the UK, and France markets went up. The drop in W320 cashew nut exports has had a big impact on the whole industry.
