5 recommended import and export options for the last months of the year

DNHN - In light of the interconnected obstacles and challenges, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has recommended 5 options for import and export activity in the last months of the year.

First, prepare and submit to the Prime Minister for approval and promulgation a Goods Import and Export Strategy until 2030.

Second, encourage the use of FTAs. In particular, will rigorously supervise the execution of the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) implementation plans by the ministries, branches, and localities following the Prime Minister's orders.

Third, encourage market expansion and trade promotion. Monthly briefings will be held between Ministry functional agencies, the Vietnam Trade Office system in foreign countries, localities, associations, companies, and connected ministries and branches.

Fourth, improve the early warning system for trade remedy cases and guide firms on how to react to lawsuits.

To safeguard export sectors from the dangers of "anti-evading" trade remedies, strengthen the implementation of measures to prevent trade fraud and fraud on rules of origin.

Fifth, create and distribute literature to educate firms about FTAs and export markets. Coordination with ministries and agencies, particularly the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, to access agricultural markets.
